Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) cordially invites you to apply to the Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Course (January 2-31, 2024) held online and in the capital city Vilnius. 4 weeks of intensive Lithuanian language classes, various sociocultural lectures, workshops, field trips, new connections and much more is awaiting you this winter!

For foreigners and foreigners of Lithuanian origin there is an opportunity to receive a scholarship (for contact course) or a tuition waiver (for online course). Don’t meet the criteria for it? No problem – you may get a discount anyway!

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Tunghai University with the support of Taiwan’s MOE (Ministry of Education) for the Fall Semester of 2024 is again providing a special “Elite Scholarship” program for lecturers / teachers who have the opportunity to get scholarships to continue their Masters or S3 studies at Tunghai University. 

For lecturer candidates who are interested and eligible for this scholarship offer, can fill out the application form that we have attached to the email link, provide proof / certificate of lecturer appointment and CV (all required in English translation). If you do not have a certificate of appointment, it can be replaced with a Letter of Appointment signed by the rector or Head of Department.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree with good academic standing.
  2. Applicants must be certified medically by a Professional Medical Practitioner, to have some categories of disability but of excellent health condition to be eligible for this scholarship. The cost of medical examination to be borne by applicants.
  3. Applicants must have secured admission to selected member institution of AUN. However, those who have made applications for postgraduate studies, but have not yet received an offer letter are encouraged to apply.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

This Fellowship supports predoctoral positions at leading development economics institutions and seeks to expand the representation of strong researchers who have graduated from high school in low and lower-middle-income countries.

Successful candidates will receive a recommendation from the Weiss Fund for some of the most competitive predoctoral positions, giving finalists a rare endorsement in their application process and an indirect subsidy towards their salary in predoc positions. Previous Fellows have been placed in predoctoral positions at the University of California, Berkeley, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Northwestern University, Princeton University, Stanford University, and Yale University. Finalists will also be featured on our website, a unique platform to showcase their work and interest in academia and economics.
