Graduate Program
We are excited to announce the return of the ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum, “Take Actions for Social Change” (TASC) program for the year 2024, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat. Following the remarkable success of the previous year’s forum, TASC will continue fostering cross-cultural exchange between young people from ASEAN countries and Japan and addressing pressing global issues.
The Geneva Challenge, hosted by the Geneva Graduate Institute, is a project funded by Swiss Ambassador Jenö Staehelin and aims to encourage graduate students to provide innovative and pragmatic solutions to some of the world’s complex challenges. This year, students are invited to develop analysis-based proposals on “The Challenges of Migration”.

Universitas Gadjah Mada with support from The Nippon Foundation through the fellowship program known as the “Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund Program” (SYLFF) is offering UGM-SYLFF Fellowship which exclusively awards shortlisted applicants to pursue the graduate program on the subject of Social Sciences and Humanities in Universitas Gadjah Mada. The UGM-SYLFF Fellowship is an innovative approach to the lasting cooperation of the UGM and Tokyo Foundation under the Sylff consortium with 69 other universities in 44 countries.
