P&G CEO Challenge 2022

Procter & Gamble (P&G), an American global consumer goods corporation, invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to join the P&G CEO Challenge. Since about 180 years ago, P&G made products that support several values, such as putting people first and supporting sustainability. 

The P&G CEO Challenge is a global business case competition that will bring students from all around the world together to demonstrate their capacity to solve real business cases. Participants must compete in each country. If they show a good performance, they will continue their journey at the regional level to earn tickets to the global level.

UGM to Broaden Collaborations with the Universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On Tuesday (25/01), UGM held a virtual introductory meeting with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. This meeting was intended to explore the partnership opportunity between these two institutions, thanks to the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh, who have been actively bridging the initial communication.

This meeting was opened by the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh with a warm remark by H.E. Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad, the Ambassador of Indonesia for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Toyo University Spring Business Japanese Special Course

Toyo University will hold a free online  “Spring Business Japanese Special Course “, inviting experts from various fields, from Feb 7th to Feb 17th. Toyo University welcomes students studying Japanese at universities in Japan and overseas, the foreigners working at Japanese companies, and those who are studying business Japanese in overseas countries/regions as long as they have Japanese ability equivalent to JLPT N2.

This course will teach you about the Japanese language, cultural understanding, business etiquette, and other skills that are necessary in business scenarios. This course is also online using Webex as the platform.

Global Leadership English Challenge

The Hope to the Future Association (HFA), a Civil Society Organization representative at the United Nations Department of Global Communications, is inviting students to join the Global Leadership English Challenge. HFA is a non-profit organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea that has achieved the status of associated Civil Society Organization with the United Nations Department of Global Communications.

The Global Youth English Contest (GLEC) is an English speech/essay competition for youth from all around the world on the topic of the United Nations and international concerns. Starting in 2012, we’ve been encouraging youth participation by naming competition as the yearly UN agenda item and desirable aims for everyone on the planet. The Global GLEC Conference follows the Regional Preliminary Round and Regional Final Round, all of which are held online at https://www.glecchina.com/.

Doshisha University, also known as Dodai, is a private university in Kyoto, Japan. It is one of Japan’s oldest private schools of higher study, having been founded in 1875. Doshisha University is regarded as one of Japan’s most selective private universities, ranking fourth among Japanese private universities in 2013 in terms of “schools to which parents prefer to send their child.”

 

Doshisha University has 14 faculties, 16 graduate schools (including separate professional graduate schools), and programs for overseas students at the Center for Japanese Language and Culture. Doshisha has a variety of campus facilities, including conference rooms, chapels, event halls, recreation facilities, and various sports facilities spread around the campus.

It is located in the Japanese prefecture of Osaka and is ranked third among Japanese universities and 75th worldwide.

 Osaka University, famous for its Dentistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, and Astronomy, offers a wide range of courses structured into 11 faculties for undergraduate programs and 16 graduate schools. The campus also has a variety of facilities for its students, including research institutions, libraries, university hospitals, and a museum.
