It was founded in 1949 after some consolidations and mergers with Kagawa Normal School，Kagawa Normal School for Youth and Takamatsu College of Economics. Kagawa prefecture itself is full of natural and man-made beauty, surrounded by mountains on one side and Japan’s inland sea on the other.
