Following UGM’s last visit by the Rector and several delegates to Nottingham, the University of Nottingham (UoN) paid a return visit to UGM on 28 July 2023. This visit was led by Dr. Bagus Muljadi (Chairman of UKICIS) and consisted of three other delegates, namely Professor Patrick Wheeler (Director of Power Electronics Machines and Control Group and Head of Global Engagement, Faculty of Engineering), Professor Meryem Duygun (Professor of Banking and Finance at the Nottingham University Business School) and Ms. Shannon Baverstock (Global Engagement Manager). On UGM’s side, Prof. Dr. Puji Astuti, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt. (Director for Partnerships, Alumni and Global Initiatives) welcomed the UoN delegates together with the Dean of Graduate School, Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Partnerships and Alumni Faculty of Economics and Business, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service and Partnerships Faculty of Biology and representatives from the Faculty of Engineering.

Kicking off from 6 June 2023 until 9 June 2023, a delegation from UGM, led by the Rector, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D., carried strategic missions during a series of visitation to eight existing university partners in the UK. The delegation consists of the Vice Rector for Education and Learning, Dean of Veterinary Medicine, Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Dean of Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Dean of Faculty of Psychology, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Dean of Vocational College, Dean of Biology, Dean of Graduate School, Director of Partnership, Alumni, Global Initiatives, and the Chair for Health Promoting University (HPU) UGM.

On May 29th, 2023, UGM received a visit from Université Le Havre Normandie, France. Professor Jean-Noël Castorio, First Vice President of Université Le Havre Normandie was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ignatius Susatyo Wijoyo, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector for Research, Business Development and Partnerships, Ir. Wiratni, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPM., Deputy Director of Partnerships, Alumni and Global Initiatives, and representatives from Faculty of Cultural Sciences and Faculty of Engineering.
UGM welcomed the representatives from Danish universities on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Delegations from Denmark who visited UGM included the representatives from Aarhus University and Copenhagen Business School. The representatives from Aarhus University consisted of Finn Borchsenius, Vice Dean for Engineering Education and Sarah Grams, International Recruitment Manager. As for Copenhagen Business School, the representatives consisted of Martin Jes Iversen, Deputy Dean for International Education and Björn Jindra, professor from Copenhagen Business School. The delegation from Denmark was welcomed by Dr. Puji Astuti, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt., the Director of Partnerships, Alumni, and Global Initiatives, and I Made Andi Arsana, the head of the Office of International Affairs, at UGM Main Building. This discussion was also attended by the representatives from relevant faculties at UGM, including the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Animal Science, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Economics and Business.

This visit was led by Mr. Stéphane Dovert, as Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Indonesia, and François Dabin, as Director of IFI-LIP Yogyakarta. This visit was warmly received by Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, as Rector of UGM, and several other representatives from UGM.
