[Australia] Monash University – 2027 Exchange Program Semester 1

Greeting From Australia!

Monash University is pleased to announce that nominations for Semester 1, 2027 (February–June 2027) are now open for partner universities. Applications are processed on a first-completed-first-served rolling basis, and partner institutions are encouraged to submit nominations as early as possible.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Monash University Exchange Program Semester 1, 2027 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Student Applicant Guide

Eligibility

  1. Be enrolled at a Monash partner university.
  2. Undergraduate (Bachelor’s):
    • Completed at least 1 year of study before the program starts.
    • Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent 60% average).
  3. Postgraduate (Master’s):
    • Completed at least 1 year of postgraduate study before the program starts, or meet Monash’s alternative postgraduate eligibility.
    • Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent 60% average).
  4. Meet Monash University’s English language proficiency requirements.

  1. Official Academic Transcript
  2. English Language Proficiency
  3. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  4. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
  5. Letter of Recommendation from the Academic Advisor
  6. Curriculum Vitae
  7. Motivation Letter
  8. Colored Copy of Passport
  9. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download) 
  10. Passport Size Photo 
  11. Official Academic Transcript (with certified English translation if applicable).
  12. Proof of English Language Proficiency (if applicable).
  13. Passport Personal Information Page.
  14. Proof of prerequisite completion (course outline/syllabus in English, if required for selected units).

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no more than 1 October 2026
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Monash University
  3. The FINAL decision is from Monash University.

Exchange: 1 November, 2026
Study Abroad to Malaysia only: 1 October, 2026; Study Abroad to Australia: 1 November, 2026

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id
