The Bernd Rode Award is granted to outstanding scientific and higher education collaborations between Austrian and South-East Asian or Pakistani universities in the framework of ASEA-UNINET and is given in three different categories (Junior Researcher, Senior Researcher, Project based). 

We are pleased to inform you that the application for The Bernd Rode Award is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The award is associated with financial support up to a maximum of 4,500 euros to enhance and extend the research possibilities in the context of collaborations backed by ASEA-UNINET (e.g. travel expenses, research stay). The funds received from the Bernd Rode Award 2024 can be exclusively reinvested in future ASEA-UNINET research projects and collaborations.

Greetings From SUIJI!

Six University Initiative Japan-Indonesia Or SUIJI consortium consists of 3 universities in
Japan and 3 universities in Indonesia: Ehime University, Kochi University, Kagawa
University, UGM, IPB, and UNHAS. These universities are organizing Joint Degree for
Master Student (JP-MS) for S-2 students from UGM’s Agrocomplex and Joint Program for
Doctor Student (JP-DC) for S-3 students from UGM’s Agrocomplex. The length of the
program is 4 months to 1 year (for JP-MS) and 1 year (for JP-DC), with activities in the form
of lectures and research in Japan (at one of the three Japanese universities) with costs borne
by SUIJI. Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) is the SUIJI coordinator for UGM. In
2023, UGM is allocated 3 master students (2 reserves) and 1 doctoral student (1 reserve) from
the Agrocomplex.
