Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada proudly present Summer Course 2025 GREEN-HOPE: Harnessing Green Pharmacy for Climate Resilience and Community Empowerment.

This summer course program is designed to explore the role of green pharmacy in climate resilience and community empowerment through sustainability principle strategies. Over three weeks, the program will cover the utilization of medicinal plants with nature-based innovations, the use of natural ingredients in pharmacy practices, the identification of sustainability strategies, and field trips to locations that exemplify green pharmacy principles. This program will enable participants to develop innovative projects that are applicable in their communities.

The Geneva Challenge, hosted by the Geneva Graduate Institute, is a project funded by Swiss Ambassador Jenö Staehelin and aims to encourage graduate students to provide innovative and pragmatic solutions to some of the world’s complex challenges.
