On May 29^th, 2023, UGM received a visit from Université Le Havre Normandie, France. Professor Jean-Noël Castorio, First Vice President of Université Le Havre Normandie was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ignatius Susatyo Wijoyo, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector for Research, Business Development and Partnerships, Ir. Wiratni, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPM., Deputy Director of Partnerships, Alumni and Global Initiatives, and representatives from Faculty of Cultural Sciences and Faculty of Engineering.

UGM welcomed the representatives from Danish universities on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Delegations from Denmark who visited UGM included the representatives from Aarhus University and Copenhagen Business School. The representatives from Aarhus University consisted of Finn Borchsenius, Vice Dean for Engineering Education and Sarah Grams, International Recruitment Manager. As for Copenhagen Business School, the representatives consisted of Martin Jes Iversen, Deputy Dean for International Education and Björn Jindra, professor from Copenhagen Business School. The delegation from Denmark was welcomed by Dr. Puji Astuti, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt., the Director of Partnerships, Alumni, and Global Initiatives, and I Made Andi Arsana, the head of the Office of International Affairs, at UGM Main Building. This discussion was also attended by the representatives from relevant faculties at UGM, including the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Animal Science, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Economics and Business.

Visa on Arrival (Update on April 6th, 2022)

University of Cadiz would like to invite 3–4 staff or professors from Universitas Gadjah Mada to join this 5-day mobility program. The program will be held at diverse schedules, ranging from the end of May – 31 July 2022.

On Friday (25/2), UGM received a visit from the Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Indonesia. This visit was led by Mr. Stéphane Dovert, as Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Indonesia, and François Dabin, as Director of IFI-LIP Yogyakarta. This visit was warmly received by Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, as Rector of UGM, and several other representatives from UGM.

On Tuesday (25/01), UGM held a virtual introductory meeting with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. This meeting was intended to explore the partnership opportunity between these two institutions, thanks to the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh, who have been actively bridging the initial communication.
