Exchange Program
The School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo will be holding its 2018 Summer Program, called ESEP (Engineering Summer Education Program) from June 25 to August 10, 2018. This program offers top-class international undergraduate and graduate students a short-term research experience in the basic and translational sciences in our world-leading laboratories.

An outline of the program is as below.
1. Schedules
3-6 weeks between June 25, 2018 and August 10, 2018.
(program start date and duration vary depending on laboratory.)
2. Applicants
Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least two full years of study in a bachelor’s
degree program by the time the program begins.
Applicants must remain enrolled at their current home university until the ESEP program ends.
3. Number of participants
Maximum 20 students
4. Financial support
・Stipend: JPY 80,000
・Accommodation: off-campus accommodation

The Sciences Po Summer School is pleased to announce the courses for its 2018 University Programme!
In the French language track, students take classes at one of six levels adapted to their knowledge of the French language. In the social sciences track, students choose one core class for intensive study. In 2017, the Summer School will offer several new courses, in addition to the most popular courses from past years.

In this program, Southeast Asian students from ACP consortium universities learn together about various concepts related to “Safety and Reliability.” Hyogo Prefecture in Japan is known as its fast big disaster area blown by a gigantic earthquake directly below the big modern city of Kobe, “The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake” in 1995. Hyogo Prefecture has been being the center of experience and knowledge of “safety management” in terms of disaster prevention and mitigation ever since. National and international organizations and institutions accumulate at “HAT Kobe” area and many scholars, researchers, administrators and students etc. from all over the world visit and study there.

The ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU) is a 2-week experiential learning journey and “Interdisciplinary Innovathon” to foster cross-cultural exchanges and networks among the ASEM youth. ASEFSU takes place annually, each year tackling a different theme of socio-political concern within Asia and Europe. The project offers students and young professionals the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on contemporary issues and propose concrete solutions to societal challenges.
The 21st ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU21) will focus on the topic “Youth with Disabilities: Shaping inclusive ASEM Societies”. ASEF will organise ASEFSU21 in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia) and the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand) from 27 January – 10 February 2018.

We welcome students of all academic disciplines and mixed abilities. In line with our mission to provide education opportunities for young people, participation in the ASEFSU is funded by ASEF and its project partners. The Integrated English Language and Study Abroad Programme allows students to enrol in a pre-sessional English Language course followed by a Study Abroad period. The pre-sessional courses open to Study Abroad students starting in September (Semester 1) begin in April (20-week course), July (10-week course), and August (6-week course); and for students starting in January (Semester 2), October (10-week course).
