The application for Japanese Language and Culture Program at Kanazawa University（Program B）2019-2020 for two students majoring in Japanese and/or Japanese Culture is now open.

Kanazawa University will select the applicants to recommend to the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship for the Japanese Studies Students. The applicants not selected as the MEXT scholarship candidates could be accepted to the program as privately financed students (without MEXT scholarship). The result of the scholarship selection and the acceptance to the program will be notified to the applicants’ home university in July.

Chulalongkorn University is going to organise the “Active Recruitment” in Indonesia from February 19 to 23, 2019. This project is a brand new project initiated by the Faculty of Medicine, aiming to facilitate the on-site international admission process for prospective students from abroad who are interested in continuing their graduate and post-graduate studies at Chulalongkorn University.

In this respect, we wish to send our representatives from the Faculty of Medicine, the College of Public Health Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Architecture to interview potential international candidates.

Greetings from Nara Women’s University!

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in Japan offers scholarships to international students to study at Japanese universities in order to deepen their understanding of Japanese language, Japanese affairs and Japanese culture.  Our university will recruit an international student for this scholarship program.

If the candidate passes screenings, she will study at our university between Oct, 2019 – Aug, 2020, and she must be enrolled in your university as a regular student during that period. A candidate must be a student who enrolls in a regular undergraduate course of your university. Please find the enclosed materials necessary for application. We hope that there is a suitable candidate you can recommend.

The VSP is a 4-week academic program where students will be studying 2 academic courses taught by members of the UBC faculty. They will have the opportunity to participate in guided laboratory exercises, socio-cultural activities on campus, and explore the city of Vancouver. In 2018, we had over 2500 students attend the VSP. Since it launched, we have continuously received excellent feedback from students and universities.

We have just been able to confirm the 2019-20 scholarship/internship programs on CEU’s MS in Finance and MS in Business Analytics:

– Future of Big Data: Up to 3 scholarships/internships with a London boutique hedge fund.

– Morgan Stanley: Up to 5 scholarships/internships with Morgan Stanley’s Budapest office.

– Women in Technology: Up to 4 scholarships with one-on-one mentoring by industry partners and faculty.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Photo ID (Copy of passport, university ID, or government- issued ID are accepted.)
• TOEFL or IELTS official test scores (if not a native English speaker).
• Official university transcript(s) translated into English.

Transcripts and TOEFL results may be submitted
later if the results are not available yet.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1) Submit the aforementioned documents to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-12) for internal review.
2) OIA UGM will evaluate your application.
3) Once you are selected as a Nominated Student, OIA staff will send your application to Western Michigan University
4) FINAL decision from Western Michigan University.
5) After WMU receive the nomination form and documents, they will contact each of students about the online application system and guide.
