Chubu University was established in April 1984 as a technical university for the Chubu region. In April 1998 it added the College of Humanities. It now has 7 colleges and 30 departments in the arts and sciences. It was founded as a pre-eminent technical university.

Characteristics of the university are its establishment of a structure that is truly comprehensive. Studies of the fields of nature, society, and the humanities at its six colleges and twenty-one departments of arts and science. The university has created an academic environment in which students can study beyond the spheres of each department or college.

Hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of Korea and organized by the Institute for Development and Human Security (IDHS), the 2020 Global Youth Video Competition is now open for people worldwide. Young people between the ages of 19 and 34 from any country can participate in the competition, and present the context-specific action to combat sexual violence in conflict-affected settings through implementing a survivor-centered approach. The competition aims to engage youth in the international discussion on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS).

[Scholarship] Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme – Scholarship Graduate S3

We’re delighted to inform you that the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the Twelfth Round of the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (the “Scheme”). 

The Scheme aims to attract top international students to pursue Ph.D. studies in Hong Kong’s world-class research universities.  The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$26,600 (approx. US$3,400) and a conference and a research-related travel allowance of HK$13,300 (approx. US$1,700) per year for a period of three years.  300 fellowships will be awarded for Ph.D. studies commencing in the 2021/22 academic year.

The Heidelberg University Center for American Studies (HCA) was established in 2004, making this the current school of the oldest university in Germany. It was opened in 2003 by the Heidelberg University Centrum for American Studies (HUA). HCA was formally opened in October 2004. The HCA moved into its headquarters, situated on Hauptstraße 120, 69117, Heidelberg in the old center Heidelberg-Curt and Heidemarie Engelhorn.

Ibaraki University Ibaraki University (茨城大学, Ibaraki Daigaku), Japan, is a national university located in Ibaraki Prefecture, with campuses in the cities of Mito, Ami, and Hitachi.

 

It was established on May 31, 1949, integrating these prewar institutions: Mito High School (Mito Kōtō-Gakkō), Ibaraki Normal School (Ibaraki Shihan-Gakkō), Ibaraki Juvenile Normal School (Ibaraki Seinen Shihan-Gakkō), and Taga Technical Specialists’ College (Taga Kōgyō Senmon-Gakkō). The initial colleges were the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, and the College of Engineering.

In January 1984, the Iranian Parliament approved the draft IKIU Constitution. The board of directors, chairman, and council are constituent bodies of the IKIU. Education, Research, and Student and Culture leaders are some of the main departments. More than 100 000 books and magazines are available in the Sciences and Technology Park and central libraries.

Gyeongsang National University is a national university governed under the ministry of education of the Republic of Korea government and located in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province. The university is a pioneer, and pioneers’ eyes look far past the current towards the future. The university’s history started when it was established in Jinju Agricultural College in 1948, then accepted in 1968 and 1972 as Gyeongsang National College. In 1980, the school was recognized by the Ministry of Education as a national university and renamed Gyeongsang National University.

Wenzao University the Chinese First Bishop was appointed the University of Languages (formerly the Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages). Wenzao is renowned for its contribution to excellence in the teaching and study of international languages. 

Established in 1966 as “Wenzao Ursuline Junior College of Modern Languages” by the Sisters of the Roman Union of the Order of St. Ursula. Admission was only available for female students at the outset of its foundation. Wenzao opened first its doors to men in 1980. In 1980. In 1999, the College was formally reorganized and renamed in 2013 Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages.
