Kochi University of Technology (KUT), established in 1997, was originally a private university. Founded by the Kochi prefectural government, KUT ambitiously set its sights in becoming a world-class university through the pursuit of unique excellence. KUT’s revolutionary design, introducing innovations contributed greatly to development in university education. Despite its relatively small scale, KUT has had a strong presence with its distinctive character and progressive education system. Notably, KUT took the lead in adopting a quarter system to enable intensive learning. Valuing student autonomy, KUT has no compulsory courses.

– Morgan Stanley: Paid internship possibly leading to a full-time job, up to 60% scholarship
– Women in Technology: Offered by BlackRock; up to 100% scholarship, mentoring, possible internship leading to a full-time job.

The application deadline is January 30. Applicants without GMAT/GRE scores can take CEU’s online test after applying. Applicants must have a quant background, e.g. economics, statistics, science, computer science, engineering. The programs are based in Budapest with study trips to Vienna. They are designed to allow students to enter an internship or job at any time.

The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is a Recognized Independent Centre of the University of Oxford. It was established in 1985 to encourage the scholarly study of Islam and the Islamic world. The Centre provides a meeting point for the Western and Islamic worlds of learning. At Oxford, it contributes to the multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary study of the Islamic world. Beyond Oxford, its role is strengthened by an international network of academic contacts. For more information, please refer to the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies website.

The purpose of the OCIS PG Scholarships is to encourage and assist student to undertake studies that will be of benefit to the Muslim world. Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. For those candidates ordinarily resident in the UK and from a Muslim community, a preference will be given to those from a financially disadvantaged background. Applicants must be able to show how their intended course of study is of relevance and or benefit to the Muslim world.

The Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation (The Foundation) was established in March 1990 to contribute to world peace and development by fostering people from the People’s Republic of China and other countries in Asia. This foundation strives to promote mutual understanding and international exchange as well as to pay homage to and immortalize the spirit of Okazaki Kaheita, a man who worked for mutual understanding, peace, and world friendship.

In order to promote friendship between Japan and Asian countries and to further the personal development of people in these countries, the foundation provides scholarships to students from Asian countries who wish to study in graduate schools in Japan.

We are pleased to announce the call for the application of the China-AUN Scholarship (Chinese Government Scholarship – AUN Program) 2020/2021.

The China-AUN Scholarship is a full scholarship established by the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China, to sponsor students, teachers, and scholars from ASEAN nations to study in China and to enhance the academic exchange and mutual understanding between China and ASEAN members.  For the academic year 2020/2021, there are 30 scholarships available.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), and be in good health
  • The requirements for applicants’ degree and age:
    • be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s program.
    • be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs.

Scholarship 
Tuition waiver, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.

    The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

The Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID) was created in 1927 at the time of the League of Nations. It was then the first academic institution in the world entirely devoted to the study of international affairs. Its vocation is to analyze and stimulate critical thinking in the fields of international relations and development issues through its teaching (master and Ph.D. programs), research, executive education, and public events.

The Institute fosters interdisciplinary dialogue, drawing on the main social science disciplines (anthropology, development economics, international economics, international history, international relations, political science, and sociology), as well as international law. Intellectual excellence is at the heart of the Institute’s mission, driven by the conviction that only rigorous inquiry and critical thinking can provide concrete solutions to the world’s challenges. We are pleased to inform you that the Applications for MA and Ph.D. Programs beginning in September 2020 at the Graduate Institute, Geneva is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

As a part of the existing academic partnership between The Graduate Institute Geneva and Universitas Gadjah Mada, the Institute offers a scholarship each year to a student from UGM, who applies to one of the regular MA or Ph.D. study programs. Candidates who meet the following conditions will automatically be considered for the scholarship:
  • be enrolled at the Universitas Gadjah Mada at the time of application
  • be selected by the Institute’s Admission Committee, further to the evaluation of their academic profile
  • demonstrate financial need in order to pursue their studies in Geneva

Scholarship
The scholarship may include a cost of living allowance and tuition reduction in various proportions. The scholarship may include a living allowance of CHF 20,000 a year and a tuition reduction calculated according to the financial situation.

  2. Submit the aforementioned documents and the proof of online application to the Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-13) for internal review.
  3. OIA staff will evaluate your application.
  4. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your nomination to the Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID) for admission selection.
  5. THE FINAL decision from the Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID).

Please send all documents above in hardcopy (1 COPY) to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur Block F-13) and softcopy (compiled in 1 PDF file) to scholarship@ugm.ac.id no later than January 3rd, 2020.
