Scholarship
The camp will be from 5 to 11 June 2016 (including ravel days) and will be held at UBU in Ubon Ratchathani province and in Mukdahan province. The camp will consist of 100 participants from universities in ASEAN countries.
The aims of the camp are to i) improve studens’ English skills, ii) leam and exchange information about the
cultures of ASEAN students, and iii) improve aad srengthen academic co-operation among
universities in ASEAN.
The event will consist of cultural exchange activities, lectures on the ASEAN
community, learning English, and a national performance by the participants from each country
(duration 5 minutes for each performance). Therefore, UBU invites the participants from UGM to
present an Indonesian performance of five minutes duration on the evening of 6 June 2016.

As successful workshop grant applicants, Universitas Indonesia and SOAS, University of London are inviting applications from early career researchers to participate in a workshop by way of a paper or poster presentation. Researchers from the Universitas Indonesia and SOAS are also invited to apply although funded places for such researchers is limited by the terms of the grant.
=&1=&The M2B Workshop is an exciting opportunity for researchers interested in impact-led, development directed research in collaboration with stakeholders from migrant workers’ groups, NGOs, trade unions and government.
The British Council will cover funded participants’ attendance at the workshop including: travel (for researchers from the UK this means international and local travel; for researchers from Indonesia this means domestic and local travel), travel and medical insurance, accommodation and meals. Participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa to enter Indonesia. Participants must arrange for adequate travel and medical insurance cover.
