Current water challenges require an interdisciplinary approach.Through practical field work, international perspectives and innovative educational methods, students will better understand the interactions between environmental factors and anthropogenic activities.
Course work includes surface water and groundwater theoretical basis, modeling tools, field studies, excursions, and practical works in our new hydrogeology facilities.

Sophia University has more than 200 partner institutions worldwide and receives exchange students based on the student exchange agreements. Every year, more than 300 exchange students study at Sophia. Participating exchange students pay tuition to their home institution for the period of their stay at Sophia. Exchange students will be responsible for their own room and board and transportation to and from the host institution.

The course list is a compilation of courses that are offered in English. Please note this is only to be used as a reference. The final, official list of courses will be available through the online course registration system (Portal system) approximately 1 month before the beginning of lectures.
We would also like to mention that if the selected proposed study level is “Masters,” students will only be able to enroll in two colleges: Global MBA and Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS).

2) OIA staffs will evaluate your application and make the applicant ranking.
3) Once you are selected as Nominated Student, you may continue register to HUFS as for host university selection.
4) FINAL decision from HUFS.
