2. Geological Field School

Presents an incredible opportunity for international students to dive into geology fieldwork right in the heart of France. Students work alongside esteemed faculty members and passionate graduate students in the geology department! This peer teaching approach is not just a learning method; it is a chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience and truly apply knowledge in a real-world setting.   2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to UniLaSalle and you may proceed to the online application no later than February 07, 2025 (Geological Field School) and March 03, 2024 (Food as Medicine).

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • Multidisciplinary Curriculum: The CCSS provides a rich, cross-disciplinary perspective on climate change. Courses are taught by experts from fields such as Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Geography, Humanities, Law, Physics, Political Science, and Sociology.
  • Global Networking: Connect with an international community, establishing lasting connections with peers worldwide.
  • Academic and Cultural Exploration: Enjoy academic visits, cultural excursions, and social events, adding depth to the learning experience.

  • Program Extension Option

    In addition to the standard two-week program, students have the option to extend their experience with a 4-Week Program (6 ECTS credits) from June 30 to July 25, 2025. This extended program includes the choice of one additional course:

    1. Skills Summer School – Ideal for students looking to improve writing and speaking skills essential to academic and professional success.
    2. Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis – Organized by UAM’s Summer School of Economics and Business, this course offers an in-depth view of economic policies related to environmental challenges.

Nomination Procedure:

To ensure a smooth process, please follow these steps:

  1. Applicants should contact UCA’s designated activity coordinator to confirm fit and obtain approval for the Mobility Agreement. Please see UCA’s website for information on the available program and contacts: https://internacional.uca.es/visiting-staff-2024-25/
  1. The signed Mobility Agreement must be part of the nomination (template can be accessed on the same website above).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  •  Curriculum Vitae
  •  Visit purpose/Mobility Project Plan which consists of:
  1. Overall objectives of the mobility
  2. Added value of the mobility (in the context of the modernisation and Internationalisation strategies of the institutions involved)
  3. Activities to be carried out (for Training Mobility)/Content of Teaching Program (for Teaching Mobility) including proposed time of mobility.
  4. Expected outcomes and impact (e.g. on the professional development of the staff member, students and on both institutions)
  •  Colored copy of passport
  •  Letter of Nomination from faculty/unit at UGM (*addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs)
  •  English language proficiency  (TOEFL min. 550, IELTS min. 6.5)

  • OIA UGM will evaluate your application.
  • Once you are selected as nominated candidate, OIA will send your application to the University of Cadiz.

AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The Académie de Recherche et d’Enseignement Supérieur (ARES) provides a number of scholarships worldwide, with the aim of encouraging students to participate in this specialized master and become active members of scientific research and public health projects.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • The application deadline with the ARES Scholarship is 18 October 2024
  • The application without the ARES Scholarship will open on 16 February 2025 and closed on 31 March 2025.

Note that application files for ARES scholarships must be complete by the closing date of the call; no additional documents are subsequently admitted. We are pleased to announce that the 5th edition of the Week of Indonesia-Netherlands Education and Research (WINNER) Conference will take place from September 24 to 26, 2024. This year’s conference is themed ‘Nurturing Mutually Beneficial Cooperation in Higher Education and Research’ and marks a significant milestone by introducing a hybrid format, blending physical gatherings in the Netherlands with virtual participation via RingCentral. The distinguished opening ceremony will be hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture, while the prestigious closing ceremony will be presided over by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Netherlands. On the second day, the conference will feature six thematic streams, each representing a vital aspect of sustainable development between the two countries. These streams will follow the hybrid format, with physical events held at various esteemed universities across the Netherlands. The thematic streams for this year include: Energy, Health, Agriculture & Food, Water, Law & Legal, and Culture & History.

We are excited to announce that our joint application to the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) program has been granted funding! This collaboration between Lund University (LU) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) offers students and staff the opportunity to participate in academic exchange programs between 2024 and 2027.

Sciences Po, one of the best political and social sciences school in the world, is calling for outstanding applications for visiting faculty from around the world. These calls for applications are the fruits of collaboration between Sciences Po Paris and Université Paris Cité. These programs cover various field of studies: Artificial Intelligence; Social Sciences and humanities; Environmental inequalities; Health, environment and climate; Science and Politics; Political economy of the sea; educational policies; and discrimination.
