As a United Kingdom’s international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, the British Council is offering a prestigious scholarship for female science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) graduates to study a Masters in the United Kingdom (UK). The British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM could be your route to a world class qualification which will lead you to a position of influence.
The scholarship’s recipients will get the main benefits:
- Fully paid tuition to study at a university in a country which is a world leader in STEM subjects
- Grant to cover living costs for fifteen months
- Special support for mothers
- The internationally valued prestige of being a British Council scholar
This year, supported by the British Council, the University of Glasgow is offering 5 fully funded scholarships for female students from Southeast Asia, including Indonesia who are interested in pursuing master’s studies in the field of Energy Transition and Climate Change.
Eligibility
- Indonesian women citizens, especially civitas academica UGM.
- Have an undergraduate degree
- Have not previously studied at degree level or higher in the UK or lived recently in the UK
- Must not be in receipt of financial support or funding towards your study program in the UK from any other source
- Meet the English language requirement of the University of Glasgow (or are expected to meet the requirement after a 3-month English Language pre-sessional course)
- Active in the field with work experience or a proven interest in their subject area
- Return to Indonesia for a minimum of two years after your scholarship award has ended
