National Chengchi University (NCCU) was founded in 1927. Over the past 8 decades through re-formation and development, the University has been upholding its motto, “Harmony, Independence, Balance, and Preeminence”, and has continued to refine its teaching methods and research in order to nurture talent for Taiwan and society.

 

Program Information

 

The International College of Innovation (ICI) is the sole college in NCCU that promotes interdisciplinary studies that cover major disciplines such as global studies, Asian studies, and data science. Its innovative teaching curriculum features problem and project-based learning that allow students to employ the knowledge acquired and benefit the most from multidisciplinary studies. ICI also leverages all the possible resources to promote international mobility. Students in their senior years will get to have chances to engage in overseas exchange and internships. 

 

In addition, there are multiple scholarships schemes provided for students. Prospective applicants can receive scholarships and stipends that amount to USD 5000 per year, consecutively for four months. Based on their academic performance, students can also apply for tuition waivers and as such during their studies at NCCU.

Scholarship Information 

 

Eligibility

  1. Indonesian citizen, especially civitas academica UGM
  2. Graduated from a high school, college, or university

 

Required Documents

  1. Application Fee Receipt
  2. Declaration Form (will be generated by the online application system)
  3. Copy of passport photo identification page
  4. Passport Picture
  5. One photocopy of the highest academic degree obtained (issued in English or Chinese or notarized and translated into English or Chinese)
  6. One complete academic transcript (issued in English or Chinese or notarized and translated into English or Chinese)
  7. An official bank statement (in Chinese or English) that indicates an account balance of more than NTD$ 200,000 (USD$ 6,500) (the statement has to be issued by a financial institution and cannot be older than 3 months at the time of the application)
  8. All the document listed as required on the Online Application

 

Application Procedures

  1. Apply through the Online Application link. The application period is open from February 2nd, 2021 until March 19th, 2021 at 5pm (Taiwan time).
  2. Pay the application fee.
  3. Upload the required documents and submit the application
