Macquarie University is pleased to inform you applications for our Exchange program 2019, Session 2 are now open.

More information about how to apply can be found here: a step-by-step-process.
Our 2019 Exchange Program Brochure and Exchange Program Fact Sheet will provide important information for you.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Application (form provided)
  2. Recommendation letter
  3. Copy of Official Academic Transcript, if you applying to a postgraduate program, both postgraduate and undergraduate transcripts are required.  You must have a GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent) to apply for exchange at Macquarie;
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Motivation Letter
  6. Proof of English proficiency such as IELTS (Academic) – Minimum requirement: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each section. For a detailed list of other acceptable levels of English proficiency and English language package providers as approved by Macquarie University, please refer to our website.
  7. Certificate of enrollment from faculty
  8. Letter of Nomination from faculty (*addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs)
  9. Copy of Passport

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-12) for internal review;
  2. OIA UGM will evaluate your application;
  3. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your application to host university.  Once the nomination process has been completed, we will forward the application link to candidates. Please  tick the box ‘Exchange’ and not ‘Study Abroad’, as Study Abroad is our fee-paying program.
  4. FINAL decision from host university

Please send all documents in 2 Hardcopies (1 original and 1 copy) to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur Block F-12) and 1 Softcopy (Scan all applicants’ filled-out application materials in one PDF File) by email to scholarship@ugm.ac.id by:

  • Semester 2, 2019: April 8, 2019
  • Semester 1, 2020: 31 October, 2019
