It is a special program designed for international students from affiliated universities around the world. It offers a unique curriculum of Japanese language classes and courses in the students’ major in English and Japanese. Participating student deepen their knowledge and understanding not only of their major field study, but also of Japanese society and people, through academic work and meaningful interactions with Japanese students and local people.
Saga Prefecture is in northwest Kyushu. Since ancient times, people in Saga have been enjoying exchanges of people, ideas, technologies and goods with China, Korea, and Southeast Asia because of this geographical advantage.

The two years of Master’s study include three semesters at Sciences Po in Paris and one semester away interning or studying in France or within our partner network abroad. Our graduate programmes provide students with both an in-depth academic background in the social sciences and hands-on experience of the professional field they aim to work in.

INNES winter schools are short term (two to three weeks) academic programs that discuss relevant academic topics and improve participants’ soft skills. They provide the opportunity to combine learning with a visit to beautiful multicultural Vienna – the perfect environment for studying, applying knowledge, and making friends and contacts for your students’ future career.
This is an exciting opportunity for your students to experience Vienna whilst broadening their knowledge, and earning credits to take back with them to their home university. The tuition fee includes the participation fee and all study materials, as well as a “Vienna life package”. INNES assists students with finding accommodation, and also organizes an optional social program.

The International Graduate Program for Advanced Science (IGPAS) was initiated in October 2004 as one of the first International Priority Graduate Programs supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Technology (MEXT). The lecture courses are taught in English, and the students are not required to learn Japanese language, although they are encouraged to learn it for their daily life. Scholarship opportunities are available for those who meet our qualifications and academic standards. Since its establishment in 2004 to September 2015, IGPAS has conferred 81 Master of Science degrees and 59 Doctor of Science degrees to students from 22 countries.
IGPAS is a 5-year graduate program combining a 2-year master’s program and a 3-year doctoral program. Admission for the 3-year doctoral program is also available. Each student is affiliated with one of 6 departments: Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy, Geophysics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. Each department determines its own curriculum and course requirements. Availability of classes varies depending on the semester and/or departments. Students may consult their supervisor about their research plan each semester before registration.

The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University (UGAS-EU) is a consortium of the graduate schools of agriculture at Ehime and Kagawa Universities, and Agricultural Sciences, Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, Kochi University, on the island of Shikoku, Japan.
We consider it necessary that students of agricultural sciences widen their scope and deepen their disciplines. Accordingly, to fill the growing need for environmental studies as well as resource studies in the tropics, UGAS-EU established in 1990 special program for international students in the field of tropical and subtropical agriculture and related sciences. A limited number of students in this program are supported by scholarships provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (Monbukagakusho: MEXT). Applications are now being accepted for October 2017/September 2020 program in accordance with the UGAS-EU admission policy.
HONG KONG PhD FELLOWSHIP (KHPF) SCHEME
The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPF) was established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) in 2009. The HKPF aims at attracting the best and brightest students across the world to pursue their research degree programmes in Hong Kong. About 135 PhD Fellowships will be awarded to all institutions in each academic year. For the 2017-18 exercise, application starts on September 1, 2016 (noon).
To discourage plagiarism, the RGC requests institutions to conduct plagiarism checking on all nominated applications before submitting their nominations to the RGC. Applicants should make sure that their application materials do not contain any plagiarised materials, in particular the research proposal & past research experience and vision statements which are expected to be an original piece of work written by the applicant.
