Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology is an Indonesian public technological university located in Surabaya, East Java, with a strong emphasis on scientific, engineering, and vocational education system. ITS has five faculties containing 27 academic departments which occupy an area of 180 hectares.

ITS was founded on November 10, 1957, as its establishment charter was signed by Sukarno, the first President of Republic of Indonesia. Initially, Sepuluh Nopember Technical College had only two departments, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. In his speech, President Sukarno himself gave the strong emphasis on the Spirit of Sepuluh Nopember, remembering the famous Battle of Surabaya which reached its heat on November 10, 1945 and annually being commemorated as Heroes Day in Indonesia.

 “All About Scholarship Abroad”: Warmly Conversing about Study Abroad Scholarship at UGM Buddy Club Gathering and Capacity Building

UGM Buddy Club virtually reunited in a gathering and capacity-building event on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 where they discussed scholarships abroad in detail. Led by the Master of Ceremony (MC), Jihan Safira Baswedan and Laska Avelya, the virtual meeting between UGM Buddy Club members and OIA UGM Team held several exciting sub-events which started at 19.00 until 20.30 WIB. The gathering was initially kicked off by an opening remark by Matthew Pungga Cornelius Nathanael Gultom as the President of UGM Buddy Club, followed by informal chit-chat exchanged between UGM Buddy Club members and OIA UGM Team before entering the core sub-event—presentation on scholarships abroad by Head of OIA UGM, I Made Andi Arsana, Ph.D. Following an informative and interactive presentation session, UGM Buddy Club members also enjoyed the opportunity to comprehensively discuss and directly propose questions regarding the sundries of study abroad scholarships to the Head of OIA UGM.

Fukuoka Women’s University (FWU)-located in one of Asia’s most attractive cities, namely Fukuoka- has accumulated a history of personal and academic exchange with universities in Asia and around the rest of the globe. FWU was originally established in 1923 (Taisho year 12) as Fukuoka Prefectural College for Women and it was the first public women’s college in Japan. Today it still upholds this tradition of bright women’s higher education. FWU produced many graduates who played an active part domestically or abroad and it has contributed largely to the higher education of women in Japan. Membingkai Manajemen Pasca-Pandemi COVID-19 melalui Virtual Bootcamp dan Simposium Internasional Asian Cooperative Program (ACP) 2021

Sebagai hasil kerja sama antara Kansai University of International Studies (KUIS) dan Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) serta Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Asian Cooperative Program (ACP) kembali meluncurkan kegiatan simposium dan bootcamp internasional secara virtual yang akan digelar pada bulan Maret hingga April 2021. Dengan mengangkat tema “Safety Management during the COVID-19 Pandemic” untuk kegiatan simposium internasional dan “Disaster Risk Reduction during the COVID-19 Pandemic” untuk kegiatan bootcamp, ACP mengundang mahasiswa program sarjana dari berbagai universitas anggota Konsorsium ACP untuk saling berkolaborasi melalui kedua program yang bertujuan untuk membangun dan membina Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berkualitas yang mampu mengelola pembangunan di Asia dengan mengimplementasikan konsep keamanan dan sekuritas.
