ASEAN young leaders for innovation 2016 is a 5-day international forum for student leaders hailing from ASEAN universities. It is primarily focused on reinforcing the ASEAN identity by creating platform of engagement through design thinking and social
innovation with regards to ASEAN integration initiative that aims to boost ties between ASEAN countries with the goal of
improving the region’s global competitiveness and integrates different ASEAN communities into one diversified social innovative regional entity.
Throughout the event, several activities will be made regarding Design Thinking and Social Innovation and fields with respect to changes, issues to be addressed by social innovation that will impact the lives of ASEAN young leaders. To fully realize the goals of this event, the program is envisioned to create an avenue of information and channel for design thinking and social innovative ideas through thematic talks, collaborative activities, team building, sharing of ideas and congregational dialogues to inform and empower the young student leaders to take a stand and act on the challenges faced by the ASEAN community.

The Sejong University International Summer School brings students from universities around the world together in an exploration of Korea. The Sejong University International Summer School will be held for 2 weeks each (English Track: July 18 – July 30, 2016 / Korean Track: August 1 – August 13, 2016). The camp will be from 5 to 11 June 2016 (including ravel days) and will be held at UBU in Ubon Ratchathani province and in Mukdahan province. The camp will consist of 100 participants from universities in ASEAN countries.
The aims of the camp are to i) improve studens’ English skills, ii) leam and exchange information about the
cultures of ASEAN students, and iii) improve aad srengthen academic co-operation among
universities in ASEAN.
The event will consist of cultural exchange activities, lectures on the ASEAN
community, learning English, and a national performance by the participants from each country
(duration 5 minutes for each performance). Therefore, UBU invites the participants from UGM to
present an Indonesian performance of five minutes duration on the evening of 6 June 2016.

The Korean Government invites outstanding students who are majoring in the fields of science and engineering at the universities and colleges of the 10 ASEAN countries. This training program is designed to provide students with an in-depth academic training in the science and engineering fields and invaluable experience in Korea. This program seeks to nurture future leaders who will contribute to the development of global society and further friendship between Korea and their home country. The Italian Government awards scholarships for studying in Italy both to foreign citizens and Italian citizens resident abroad (IRE). The aim of these scholarships is fostering international cultural cooperation, spreading the Italian language, culture and science knowledge and promoting the economic and technological sectors of Italy all around the world.

ESADE’s International Summer Programme offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate or recent graduate students of any discipline and from any country who want to prepare for their professional future and develop a more global understanding. This year, we are planning to nominate your students (2 students) for the scholarship program.
Important Notes
– We nominate students for 1 year program only.
That means he/she has to study for 1 year from March 2016 to December 2016.
If your selected students’ 2016 first semester GPA is below 80% (out of 100%), they will not get a scholarship in the second semester.
– We are looking for students who will take courses which will be conducted in English not Korean language program. (Undergraduate students only)
Students must take courses at our Seoul campus not Global campus.
Students have to take at least one Korea-related elective during their stay.
Students who received any type of Korean government scholarship before are not eligible.
Freshmen students are not eligible. Only those who completed at least one year at home institution at the time of application can apply for this program.
If they apply for GKS scholarship through KHU, they cannot apply through another university.
Students with Korean nationality are not eligible.
Students must stay in Korea during the scholarship program.
– The higher GPA students have, the higher the chances will be. It’s very important and has been proved for the last few years. It is one of the most important criteria in the selection process.
★ GPA means total GPA(CGPA) at the time of application. If your student’s academic standing is below 80% (out of 100%), the student will not be eligible for this program.
★ Foreign Language Proficiency including English & Korean will be another important factor.
Students must submit their score report as proof with other required documents.
