It is a special program designed for international students from affiliated universities around the world. It offers a unique curriculum of Japanese language classes and courses in the students’ major in English and Japanese. Participating student deepen their knowledge and understanding not only of their major field study, but also of Japanese society and people, through academic work and meaningful interactions with Japanese students and local people.
Saga Prefecture is in northwest Kyushu. Since ancient times, people in Saga have been enjoying exchanges of people, ideas, technologies and goods with China, Korea, and Southeast Asia because of this geographical advantage.

Sciences Po’s seven schools welcome graduate students from all over the world. The two years of Master’s study include three semesters at Sciences Po in Paris and one semester away interning or studying in France or within our partner network abroad. Our graduate programmes provide students with both an in-depth academic background in the social sciences and hands-on experience of the professional field they aim to work in.
In order to recruit the best students from all around the world, Sciences Po offers Master’s programmes taught entirely in English. No need to speak French to enrol in these programmes: students can become multilingual with intensive French language courses during their studies at Sciences Po.

The International Graduate Program for Advanced Science (IGPAS) was initiated in October 2004 as one of the first International Priority Graduate Programs supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Technology (MEXT). The lecture courses are taught in English, and the students are not required to learn Japanese language, although they are encouraged to learn it for their daily life. Scholarship opportunities are available for those who meet our qualifications and academic standards. Since its establishment in 2004 to September 2015, IGPAS has conferred 81 Master of Science degrees and 59 Doctor of Science degrees to students from 22 countries.
IGPAS is a 5-year graduate program combining a 2-year master’s program and a 3-year doctoral program. Admission for the 3-year doctoral program is also available. Each student is affiliated with one of 6 departments: Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy, Geophysics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. Each department determines its own curriculum and course requirements. Availability of classes varies depending on the semester and/or departments. Students may consult their supervisor about their research plan each semester before registration.

The Graduate Institute is an institution of research and higher education (Master and PhD). Selective and cosmopolitan, it is located in the heart of International Geneva and specialises in the study of the major global, international and transnational challenges facing the contemporary world.
MASTER and DOCTORAL Students from partner institutions are eligible to apply to the exchange programme for one or two semesters. Prior to submitting their applications, students are nominated from their home universities.

The Spring Program offered by the College of Cross-Cultural and Multidisciplinary Studies at Kumamoto University was created to provide international students who have an interest in studying abroad in Japan with a chance to experience life as an international student at Kumamoto University.
The Spring Program offers two courses to participants: an English Course (conducted in English) and a Japanese Course (conducted in Japanese).
