National Chengchi University (NCCU) was founded in 1927. Over the past 8 decades through re-formation and development, we have been upholding our motto, “Harmony, Independence, Balance and Preeminence”, and have continued to refine our teaching methods and research in order to nurture talent for our country and society.

 

NCCU currently offers six Master’s and Doctoral degree programs taught entirely in English, specially designed for international students. These include International Master’s & Doctoral Programs in Asia-Pacific Studies, Communication, Economics, International Affairs and Business (IDAS, IMAS, IMICS, IMES, IMPIS, and IMBA).

 

We are pleased to inform you that  MOE/NCCU Elite Scholarship from National Chengchi University (NCCU) is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

 

The NCCU Elite Scholarship Program provides a full tuition waiver and a monthly living stipend for two years (Master’s program) or three years (Doctoral program)

 

Eligibility

1. Universitas Gadjah Mada academic faculty members
2. Have a Bachelor Degree
3. Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL or IELTS

5. Certificate of English Proficiency 
6. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
7. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty 
8. Letter of Recommendation/Reference 
9. Copy of passport photo identification page
10. Passport picture
11. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

Application Procedure

1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than March 1st, 2021.
2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to National Chengchi University (NCCU) and you may proceed to the online application
3. The FINAL decision from National Chengchi University (NCCU)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

 

• In the meantime, the applicant is required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.

• In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)

• Application of outgoing mobility for fall/odd semester in AY 2020/2021 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
