Ibaraki University Ibaraki University (茨城大学, Ibaraki Daigaku), Japan, is a national university located in Ibaraki Prefecture, with campuses in the cities of Mito, Ami, and Hitachi.
It was established on May 31, 1949, integrating these prewar institutions: Mito High School (Mito Kōtō-Gakkō), Ibaraki Normal School (Ibaraki Shihan-Gakkō), Ibaraki Juvenile Normal School (Ibaraki Seinen Shihan-Gakkō), and Taga Technical Specialists’ College (Taga Kōgyō Senmon-Gakkō). The initial colleges were the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, and the College of Engineering.

The International Students Conference in Ibaraki (ISCI) reaches its 16 times this year.
ISCI provides Japanese and International students with opportunities to have academic and cultural interactions, which surely enrich the development of internationalized human resources.

Eligibility
- Undergraduate Students (S1) and Graduate Students (S2 & S3)
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
- Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL ITP 550, TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.

Application Procedure
- Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form:http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication before November 14th, 2020 for internal documentation.
- You may proceed to the registration directly by following the registration steps available in the given attachment above. If you need a recommendation from OIA, you may fill out this form http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication and contact OIA directly for more information.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
- To prevent the spread of the Covid-19, the conference will be held online this year. This conference is usually held only for students from Ibaraki Prefecture, but since it will be held online this year, we are also inviting to participate from the partner university.
