[United States of America] Western Michigan University – Students Exchange Program for Spring 2021 (REMINDER)

We are pleased to inform you that WMU 2020-2021 nomination for the Exchange program is now open.

Eligibility

  • 3rd to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
  • 3rd to 4th-semester graduate students (S2)
  • Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program

Required Documents

  1. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)
  2. Photocopy of Certificate of Language Proficiency (*adjust to the attached English proficiency requirements)
  3. Letter of Recommendation from Academic Advisor
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Motivation Letter
  6. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (*addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs)
  7. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  8. Official Academic Transcript

Application Procedure

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to the Office of International Affairs, UGM for internal review.
  2. OIA UGM will evaluate your application.
  3. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your application to Western Michigan University and you may proceed to the online application for host-university selection.
  4. The FINAL decision from Western Michigan University.
Please register your application and send all documents above in softcopy (compiled in 1 PDF File) to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than August 28th, 2020. 
IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
  • Application of outgoing mobility for fall/odd semester in AY 2020/2021 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
