We are pleased to announce that applications for the Winter Program 2027 are now open to students of Universitas Gadjah Mada.
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to students from partner universities.
- Proficiency In English
- No prior Japanese proficiency is required; Japanese classes are designed for zero beginners.
- Participants must arrange overseas travel insurance independently.

- January 5 Welcome Party and Campus Tour Japanese Language and Culture Classes
- January 6 Japanese Language and Culture Classes Lunch with Toyo University Students
- January 7 Japanese Language and Culture Classes Temple visit in Yanesen
- January 8 Disaster Prevention Center Experience Tokyo Skytree and Special Hands-on Activity Asakusa
- January 9 Japanese Language and Culture Classes Activity with Toyo’s Student Club WHERE YOU STAY
- January 10-11 Free daysJanuary 12Farm work experience (Winter seasonal activity)
- January 13 Japanese Language and Culture Classes
- January 14 Field Trip to Chichibu, Saitama Strawberry picking and Udon making

REMARKS
- The Program fee includes tuitions, activity fees, local transportation during the program and accommodation with breakfast. Air ticket, food(lunch and dinner) and local transportation from/to airport (Tokyo) are not included.
- The main language used in the program is English.
- The target level of Japanese language classes is zero beginners.
- Participants should arrange an round trip ticket to/from Tokyo and come to the accommodation by themselves.
- Participants are required to get overseas travel insurance by themselves.
- Online orientation session will be held in mid December.
- Participation fees will be collected by Toyo University Global Service Co. Ltd.
