Greetings from the Office of International Affairs!

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University (Turkey) invites Universitas Gadjah Mada PhD students to apply for a one-month Erasmus+ Traineeship/Research Mobility. This fully funded mobility provides an excellent opportunity for doctoral candidates to conduct research, engage with international academics, and experience the academic structure in Turkey.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Erasmus+ PhD Mobility at Osmaniye Korkut Ata University is now open for UGM candidates.

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Duration: 1 Month
  • Mobility Period: October or November 2026
  • Target Fields: Priority is heavily given to PhD students in Physics and Biology. (Note: Highly compatible candidates from other related fields may still be considered).

ELIGIBILITY & FUNDING

  • Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  • Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be proficient in English
  • Funding: Supported by the Erasmus+ mobility grant scheme (typically covering travel and individual support).

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Review the host university’s departments via their website to ensure academic compatibility.
  2. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 10 June 2026 for internal review.
  3. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Osmaniye Korkut Ata University and you may proceed to the online application no later than 20 June 2026
  4. The FINAL decision is from Osmaniye Korkut Ata University  and the Erasmus+ framework.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
