Every year, Rheinisch Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen University as one of Europe’s leading institutions for engineering and science welcomes students from all over the world to take its international programs in Mechanical Engineering and student community enormously. This year, RWTH Aachen University in collaboration with RWTH International Academy offers the following Master’s Degree Programs (full-time programs) to international undergraduate students to take advantage of the Early Bird discount when applying to our master’s degree programs.

Eligibility

1. Undergraduate (S1) students
2. Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL (internet-based) 90, IELTS 5.5, Cambridge Test – Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or First Certificate in English (FCE) with a B score.

 

Required Documents*

1. GRE (Graduate Record Examination) – Verbal Reasoning 145 | Quantitative Reasoning 160 | Analytical Writing 3 (for non-EU applicants)
2. Proof of at least 6 months’ work experience
3. University transcript of records (preferably with ECTS conversion)
4. Course description
5. Curriculum vitae 
6. Motivation Letter
7. Two letters of recommendation
8. Proof of English language proficiency
9. Final Bachelor’s degree certificate

 

*If your documents were not issued in German or English, you must have a certified translator translate them into either German or English. These copies do not need to be notarized.
