Sciences Po invites applications from post-doctoral researchers and doctoral students in the final phases of their PhD for one-year Teaching Fellowships during the 2026-2027 academic year. Selected fellows will teach coursework in English on one of three undergraduate campuses in France, integrating into the academic community while receiving a competitive monthly stipend.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Sciences Po Teaching Fellowships 2026-2027 is now open for eligible Universitas Gadjah Mada PhD candidates and post-doctoral researchers.
CAMPUS LOCATIONS & DISCIPLINES
Applicants must align their expertise with the regional focus and disciplinary needs of the specific campus:
- Reims Campus (North America & Africa): 7 Fellowships available in Economics/Quantitative Methods, History, Law, Political Science, Sociology, and Political Theory.
- Le Havre Campus (Asia – Pacific): 2 Fellowships available in Economics and History.
- Menton Campus (Mediterranean & Middle East): 2 Fellowships available in Law and Sociology.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Stipend: € 2,308 gross per month (Contract: 24 August 2026 to 23 August 2027).
- Benefits: Full health coverage from the French national system and subsidized public/sustainable transportation passes.
- Accommodation: Provided exclusively to Teaching Fellows assigned to the Menton campus.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
- Have completed a PhD or are in the process of submitting a dissertation in the relevant fields.
- Teaching experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English is mandatory (courses are taught entirely in English).

- References: Two letters of reference must be sent directly by your referees to teaching.fellows@sciencespo.fr.
- The absolute deadline for both the application form and referee letters is 24 April 2026 (EOB). The FINAL decision is from Sciences Po.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
