Greetings from Canada!

The McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill are Canada’s first comprehensive, leadership-driven scholarships for master’s and professional degree studies. The scholarship program brings together a diverse group of scholars who aspire to lead with purpose – those who have demonstrated leadership potential and an inner drive to make a positive impact in other people’s lives.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for The McCall MacBain Scholarships 2026 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Application Guidelines

 

ELIGIBILITY

  1. A current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August 2026
  2. Earned the first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2020 or later)
  3. Earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago, and were 30 years or younger on January 1st, 2025
  4. Be proficient in English. Kindly refer to the Minimum Degree and Language Requirements

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Official Academic Transcript
  2. English Language Proficiency 
  3. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  4. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to UGM Rector)
  5. Letter of Recommendation from the Academic Advisor
  6. Curriculum Vitae
  7. Motivation Letter
  8. Colored Copy of Passport
  9. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download) 
  10. Passport Size Photo 

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 08 August 2025 for internal review and endorsement from UGM.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official endorsement from UGM and you may proceed to the online application no later than 20 August 2025, 04.00 PM [Eastern Time].
  3. The FINAL decision is from McCall MacBain Scholarship.
