Greetings from South Korea!

Gyeongsang National University (GNU), located in Jinju, South Korea, is a prestigious institution of higher education with a history dating back to its establishment in 1946. As one of the leading national universities in South Korea, GNU offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across various fields including natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, agriculture, and medicine

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the GNU Global Mobility Program (GGMP) for Fall 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students. 

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The GGMP (GNU Global Mobility Program) is a part of GNU’s exchange program that provides a monthly scholarship to the selected students. The monthly scholarship amount is 500,000 KRW and will be provided for a duration of four months.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  4. Be proficient in English and/or Korean

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Official Academic Transcript (Graduate students must also submit the official transcript of their undergraduate academic records)
  2. English Language Proficiency
  3. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  4. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
  5. Letter of Recommendation from the Academic Advisor (Please make sure to include the recommending professor’s name, affiliation, position(title), signature(ink or digital), and reason for recommendation)
  6. Curriculum Vitae
  7. Motivation Letter
  8. Colored Copy of Passport
  9. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download) 
  10. Passport Size Photo
  11. GGMP Appliacation Form (download)
  12. Medical Check Up (required after nominated, deadline 16 May 2025) (download)

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 28 April 2025 for internal review.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Gyeongsang National University and you may proceed to the online application.
  3. The FINAL decision is from Gyeongsang National University.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id )
