
The Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada is globally recognized with international accreditation from The Institution of Chemical Engineering (IChemE) based in United Kingdom and Indonesian Accreditation Board fro Engineering Education (IABEE), a signatory member of Washington Accord.
The program offers classes in English, fostering international exposure through partnerships with universities worldwide for student exchanges, research, internships, and joint degree programs, all focused on Student-Centered Learning. Additionally, every student, including international ones, participates in a two-month community service, enhancing interprofessional collaboration skills and experiencing Indonesian communities.

- Scanned high school academic reports (intake #1, #2, #3) or UTBK-SNBT Score (Intake #2); UTBK-SNBT and/or CBT-UM UGM Scores (Intake #3)
- For overseas students, high school institutions are required to have equivalent qualifications to A-Level/International Baccalaureate/endorsement from the Indonesian Embassy in their country of origin
- English certificate (PBT TOEFL of 500 or above, iBT TOEFL of 61 or above, IELTS of 6.0 or above, ACEPT of 268 or above, Duolingo of 90 or above)
- Letter of Financial Commitment
- Scanned certificate of three most prestigious awards (if any)

Fees
- Semester-based tuition fee: IDR 30,000,000 (approximately USD 2,010)
- The tuition fee excludes all the cost of the international exposures, which will be borne by students
- Scholarships and other financial assistance may be available
Scholarships for International Students
A scholarship is available for two international students (holding non – Indonesian passport) who successfully pass all selection processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must pass all selection processes.
- Applicants must apply in the first or second intake period of International Undergraduate Program of Faculty of Engineering, UGM.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Tuition Fee – Full coverage of tuition costs for 4 years
- Dormitory/Housing – Accommodation in UGM Residences for 4 years
Expenses Not Covered:
- Flight to Yogyakarta
- Visa
- Monthly Accommodation in Yogyakarta
