Since 1961, the Swiss Confederation has awarded the Government Excellence Scholarships to Indonesians, with over 70 alumni from various fields of study to date. The scholarships offer young talented academics an advanced further education in Switzerland.
Scholarship registration for the academic year 2025/2026 has opened for young Indonesian researchers who plan to pursue their Research Fellowship, PhD, or Post-Doctoral study in Swiss universities.
- Research Fellowship for highly qualified postgraduate researchers from all academic fields, as well as young medical doctors
- PhD Scholarship for highly qualified postgraduate students
- Post-Doc Scholarship for highly qualified early career scientists on postdoctoral level.
The application shall be submitted in hard copy to the Embassy of Switzerland by 9 December 2024. Further information on the scholarships is also available on the State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation (SERI) official website.
