Greetings from DAAD!
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Program is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). For this purpose, scholarships for development-related Master’s and doctoral studies are awarded to individuals who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or research at one of partner institutions in Southeast Asia.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Program is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Course Focus Areas: Food Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Geological Engineering and Development Studies
- Scholarship Benefits: Tuition fee, monthly allowance, study and research allowance, printing allowance, and travel allowance (in-regional scholarship only)
ELIGIBILITY
- Have a Bachelor degree (Master candidates) or a Master degree (Doctoral candidates) with above average result
- Be proficient in English (IELTS 6.0 or above)
- The last university degree should not have been obtained more than 6 years ago at the time of application
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Submit the application on the DAAD Portal no later than 31 January 2024.
- The FINAL decision is from the DAAD.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id
