[Japan] Toyohashi University of Technology – Doctoral and Master’s Degree

Toyohashi University of Technology has opened its application for both Doctoral and Master’s Degree for the Academic Year 2022. The university offers special programs conducted in English for international students seeking a degree in specific areas in the field of engineering, which are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Applied Chemistry and Life Science, and Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Eligibility

  • Those who have a Master’s degree or a professional degree (for Doctoral programs)
  • Those who have completed 16 years of school education and/or those who have prospects to graduate before this program begins (for Master’s programs)

Application Requirements

  • Application Form
  • Certificate of graduation or prospective completion issued by the last university the applicant has attended
  • Official transcript issued by the last university the applicant has attended
  • Research plan in detail on prescribed form (around 1,000 words)
  • Letter of recommendation on prescribed form
  • For applicants of Doctoral program, summary of the Master’s thesis or research paper (around 500 words), publications, and list of achievements
  • Score certificate of English proficiency test: TOEIC L&R (SP), TOEFL iBT, and IELTS
  • Photocopy of Passport
  • Examination fee: 30,000 yen

Application Submission and Deadline

  • Scanned (PDF) documents: April 22nd – May 20th, 2022 by 5:00 PM (Japan time). Submission: nyushi@office.tut.ac.jp
