Kyung Hee University was established in 1949. Kyung Hee has, since its foundation, pursued a spirit of “Scholarship and Peace.” The University has developed considerably during the last 67 years, helping fulfill a “cultural world for humanity” as leader of the future of scholarship science and creator of shared values for humanity. In the past five years in particular, the stature of the university has increased significantly through forward-looking and adventurous activities in education, research, public service, and practice.

 

Kyung Hee University is preparing for another step towards a new paradigm for the future development of universities with the 70th anniversary of 2019. We are very glad to inform you that the application for Kyung Hee University Student Exchange Program for Spring 2021 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Eligibility

  1. 5th to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  3. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
  4. Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.

  2. Passport Photo(3.5×4.5, coloured, scanned in white background)
  3. Official Bank Statement(Over 5,000 USD per semester)
  4. Insurance Certificate(English)
  5. Certificate of Enrolment(English)
  6. Official Academic Transcript(English)
  7. Recommendation Letter (Korean or English)
  8. KHU Form 1: Personal Statement(English), KHU Form 2: Dormitory ApplicationKHU Form 3: Medical Assessment

    KHU Form 4: Consents on Medical Records Release and Personal Information Usage

  9. Valid TB Test Result – TB Test Result is only valid for 3 months from the test date

Application Procedure

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form:http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than October 9th, 2020 for internal review.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Kyung Hee University and you may proceed to the online application
  3. The FINAL decision from Kyung Hee University

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
  • Application of outgoing mobility for spring/even semester in AY 2020/2021 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
