Scholarship
JASSO Scholarship is offered. However, not every student will be awarded the scholarship. Therefore, it is important for applicants to be ready financially for their living costs during exchange in Ritsumeikan APU.

Eligibility
- 3rd to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program

- Official Academic Transcript
- Confirmation Note of Application for “Certificate of Eligibility” by proxy
- Colored copy of passport
- Passport-size Photos (4 pieces, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background color, taken within the past three months)
- Proof of Funds (certificate of deposit balance issued by Bank, Scholarship Letter, etc | after nominated)
- “Study Abroad Financial Support Plan” Form (after nominated)
- “Statement of Financial Support” Form (after nominated)
- English language proficiency (Min. Score of TOEFL – ITP=530, iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0)
- “JASSO Scholarship Application” (for students who want to apply for JASSO Scholarship only)

- Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)

Application Procedure
- Submit the aforementioned documents to the Office of International Affairs, UGM for internal review.
- OIA UGM will evaluate your application.
- Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your application to Ritsumeikan APU and you may proceed to the online application for host-university selection.
- The FINAL decision from Ritsumeikan APU.
- Priority will be given to students who have decided to defer the exchange program from Fall Semester 2020 to Spring 2021 due to Covid-19 Pandemy Mobility Restriction Policy from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)

Application of outgoing mobility for fall/odd semester in AY 2020/2021 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
