[Vietnam] Foreign Trade University – International Summer Program

International Summer Program (ISP) 2017 is the annual summer program for international students. In the summer of 2017, a three-week program will be organized from 14th August to 01st September 2017. The programs have attracted a great number of students from different countries for the last 5 years. The purpose of the programs is to provide international students with knowledge about the economy of Vietnam, how to do business in Vietnam, and experience of Vietnamese culture.

[Germany] DAAD-Fraunhofer Technopreneur Award 2017

In order to strengthen collaboration between Indonesian and German researchers in the area of applied research and commercialization of research DAAD and Fraunhofer jointly award The DAAD – Fraunhofer Technopreneur Award 2017 to a young Indonesian researcher in the field of chemical science and engineering. Down streaming of research has become a focus of Indonesian research policy. Since the 1990s, global innovation processes have changed continuously. Newly developed products and knowledge are successfully creating new markets and revenues. Moreover globalization and transnational research have increased substantially. Researchers reach out to colleagues in other countries to join forces. The leading technology enterprises increasingly tend to follow this strategy. Eventually The DAAD – Fraunhofer Technopreneur Award will be mutually beneficial to both, Indonesia and Germany. The German host institution’s strengths will be complimented by the guest’s special expertise and research connections in Indonesia.

[Malaysia] Universiti Utara Malaysia – ASEAN Experential Learning Programme (AELP) 2017

As agreed at the 1st AUN Student Affairs Meeting in Manila in 2016, the ASEAN Experiential Learning Programme (AELP) was initiated by Universiti Utara Malaysia as the host university for AUN Student Affairs Network. AELP aims to provide a platform for tertiary students to undergo experiential learning through knowledge sharing and hands on activities between the participants regarding common social, economic and environmental issues affecting the ASEAN region. It is envisaged that the knowledge and experience gained from the programme will be useful when they return home and if faced with possible national and/or regional incidents, the participants would be ready to share their experiences and help manage the situation.

[Indonesia] Universitas Indonesia – AUN Students Week on Sustainable Environment 2017

This is a trial programme proposed to be an AUN annual activity as an effort to reach AUN goals in increasing the accessibility of educational resource among members as well as to nurture future leading talents. With the intention to promote intra-ASEAN mobility and to enhance the ASEAN Spirit among students of AUN member universities and ASEAN youth in general, Universitas Indonesia (UI) is pleased to host the “AUN Students Week on Sustainable Development” on 9 – 22 July 2017.   This is a two-week mobility programme with an opportunity of earning 3 credits upon completion.  The programme is designed to gather students of AUN member universities in promoting the spirit of ASEAN among ASEAN youth. The main topic of this year programme is sustainable development, which will be discussed and assessed thoroughly and comprehensively.

[South Korea] Daejeon University – ASEAN Future Leaders Programme 2017/2018

The Fostering ASEAN Future Leaders Programme (FAFL) is an ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Project between the ASEAN university Network (AUN) and Daejeon University.
This programme offers exchange scholarships for 20 undergraduate students from ASEAN student to study at Daejeon University, the Republic of Korea (ROK), the scholarship includes tuition fess, room and board, round-trip ticket, basic medical insurance and living allowance (USD 300 per month) for one academic year.

Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS is the successor to the Japan- Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Study Visit (JAYSES) program, which ran from 2007 to 2012.

Our institution is proud to have an MOU with DIKTI to support the BUDI-LN DIKTI PhD Scholarship Program for Indonesian faculty members, and the LPDP Scholarships Program for Master Degrees, as well as is the largest university partner of the New Zealand ASEAN Scholars Program.
