Sophia University’s short-term intensive program, Summer Session for Japanese Language (and Culture, modified in 2015), started in June 2013. This six-week Summer Session is designed for students who are willing to work hard to improve their Japanese language ability through a remarkably intensive program organized in Japan. Different proficiency levels of classes are offered and students study Japanese in an international environment in the heart of Tokyo.

The 8th Shelf Life International Meeting (SLIM 2017) will be held on 1-3 November 2017 at the Sukosol Hotel, BANGKOK, THAILAND. The aim of this conference is to be an international forum to share the most recent knowledge related to shelf life of food. The theme for SLIM 2017 is “Emerging Trends in Food Technology and Packaging for Shelf-life Extension and Sustainability Improvement”.
