The KDI School was founded as an affiliated educational institution of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), a premier government economic think tank at the forefront of social science research for the past 40 years. Drawing from the resources of the institute, the KDI School provides exceptional education that combines current academic theories with comprehensive and innovative practical research to support the national vision and key policy agendas.
The quality of our educational programs and faculty rivals with internationally renowned institutions, and in 2014 our MPP program has been accredited by Network of Schools in Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA). This is the first NASPAA accreditation in Korea, and the second outside USA.
All lectures are conducted in English by renowned faculty with established credentials in the public and/or the private sector attracting many international students around the globe. Every year, KDI School admits international students from over 70 different countries and about 70% of them are from the public sector.
Scholarship
Following exchange student agreements, Kansai University accepts exchange students from affiliated universities each year in April and September.

Korean Government Scholarship Program(KGSP) is operated by National Institute for International Education(NIIED). This program for undergraduate degrees is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea for Bachelor-level degrees, which in turn will contribute to promoting the international exchange in education and to deepening the mutual friendship among countries.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Must be a citizen of the country to which scholarships are offered, which is also applied to his/her parents.
• Should be under 25 years of age as of March 1, 2017 (Should be born after March, 1, 1992).
• Have an adequate health, both physically and mentally.
• NOT Eligible: those who are pregnant or who have a severe illness
• Have graduated or scheduled to graduate from a high school as of March 1, 2017.
• Must possess above 80% (out of 100%) cumulative grade point average (C.G.P.A.), or must be within 20% (out of 100%) in the rank during their entire high school period C.G.P.A. should be 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 or higher.
• Must not at any time have ever received a Korean government scholarship for an undergraduate course.
• Must have no limitations in travelling abroad.
• There may be preferential selection for applicants who have proficiency in Korean or English.
• Applicants are restricted to apply for at most one university.

The United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia is pleased to invite applications for its 2017-2018 Faculty Scholarship Program.
Tokyo Tech will host two exciting Japanese Government Scholarship programs for the 2016-2017 academic year for those students who are planning on earning their degrees at Tokyo Tech. They are International Graduate Program (A) and MEXT Scholarship Research Student. The Research Student Program is a non-degree program, while the International Graduate Program (A) is a degree program for master’s and doctoral students.
Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Beppu, Japan is currently accepting the nominations and applications for 2017 Spring exchange program. Please refer to the information below.

Colleges: College of Asia Pacific Studies (APS), College of International Management (APM) (Note: Students must choose one college they would like to enroll in but will be able to take courses from both colleges. Language of Instruction: English and Japanese
Number of Weeks of Study 1 semester is 14 weeks (plus 2 weeks of exams)
Number of Hours per Week per Course: 4 classes×95 minutes (for semester-based language course), 1 class×95 minutes (for semester-based major course), 2 classes×95minutes for quarter-based major course)
Required Number of Credits: at least 10 credits in one semester (4 to 5 courses)

The Hitachi Global Foundation strives to realize its mission by providing support to promising faculty members at the universities in Southeast Asia through the Hitachi Scholarship. The goals of the program are to promote:

The Hitachi Scholarship consists of the following two programs:
The Hitachi Scholarship Doctoral Program
This program is offered to university faculty members who would like to take a Doctoral Course in science and technology at a Japanese graduate school. The program has been devised to encourage scholars to return to their universities to continue their educational and research pursuits after completion of their studies in Japan. Under the program, a total of 182 faculty members has been invited since 1985.

The Hitachi Scholarship Research Fellowship
This program has been devised to encourage university faculty members who would like to conduct short-term post-doctoral research in science and technology. The program has been devised to allow fellows to enhance their professional backgrounds and to promote academic collaboration through development of relations with Japanese universities and institutions. Under the program, a total of 192 faculty members has been invited since 1986.
