Tokyo Tech YSEP (Young Scientist Exchange Program)
YSEP will accept approximately 40 to 50 students in total from Tokyo Tech partner universities which have established a student exchange agreement with our institute. There are 2 types of programs in YSEP: YSEP Focused on Research (YFR, a one-year program) and YSEP for Experiencing Japan (YEJ, a six-month program).

Tamkang university is scheduled to host the fourth tamkang world forum for youth leaders from January 23 through 28, 2017. The forum is designed for both undergraduate and master degree students and the theme of the forum will be “New Prospect for the World: Meeting Challenges with Vision.” The discussions are expected to be on such questions as peace, democracy, governance, economy, ecology, environment, culture, society and globalization. English will be the working language of the forum.

“ASEA-UNINET STUDENTS WEEK” is an academic mobility program, designed to facilitate graduate students from ASEA-UNINET universities’ member to participate on a short program with a duration of 2 weeks (December 3—16, 2017) and earned 3 credits (with 44 contact hours) upon completion.
This program is specifically designed so that the participants not only benefit academically through in class lectures (with multi-disciplinary field of study approach) but also get the opportunity to have an internship or field study and given the exposure of Indonesia culture through the cultural engagement included in the program.
“Sustainable Development”, chosen as the theme of this year program, aims to encourage participants to have broadened intellectual and awareness on the importance of sustainability, which has been a global issue, and challenge faced by modern society.
Universitas Indonesia invites every ASEA-UNINET member university to send 2 (two) graduate students as the representatives from each University to join this program.
The program fee is 380 USD/person including airport transfer on departure and arrival, meals during the program (exclude dinner), program materials, certificate of participation and cultural activities during the program.

Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, is the foundation of Anadolu University. The outline of HUSTEP 2017 Spring Semester Course is as follows:
1. Period of Enrollment: April 1, 2018 – August 31, 2018 (5 months)
2. Application Deadline: October 17, 2017
3. Admission notification: December, 2017
4. Program Features:
– Designed for undergraduate students both in Humanities and Science
– Courses in English (Japanese language ability is not required)
– Admission and tuition fee waiver
– Being eligible to apply for the Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) scholarship if students participate in HUSTEP
5. Important Details:
– Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
– Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.
– Due to the capacity of the program, there is a screening process to select the participants. Not all students who apply will be accepted.
– Only a limited number of students can be nominated for the JASSO scholarship.
JLCSP (Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program)
The outline of JLCSP 2018 Spring Semester is as follows:
1. Period: April 1, 2018 – August 31, 2018 (5 months)
2. Application Deadline: October 17, 2017
3. Admission notification: Mid December 2017
4. The objectives of this program are:
(1) to improve students’ Japanese language proficiency in order to enable them to interact with Japanese speakers and to conduct research in Japanese;
(2) to acquire basic knowledge and methodology for Japanese studies – especially relating to Japanese general and applied linguistics;
(3) to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese language and culture through various courses.
5. Important Details:
– Qualification of applicants
(1) Those who will be 18 years old to 29 years old on April 1, 2018.
(2) Those who major Japanese language and culture in the undergraduate courses of the university – wide agreement partners of Hokkaido University. (department-wide agreement partners not eligible) First-year students are not eligible to apply.
Those who have finished introductory level and reached intermediate level of Japanese language study at the time of submission:
those who passed N3 or above level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or have equal ability with successful applicants of the test.

Ritsumeikan University’s “International PBL Program in ASEAN Countries” is an education program focusing on “international problem/project-based learning” which looks to provide necessary “multi-dimensional thinking skills” (technical thinking, business thinking, system design thinking) by accepting students from a variety of countries and regions to work collectively to solve policy and social issues such as Asian welfare, urban planning and development which ASEAN countries have been facing.
This program has been created on the basis of academic collaboration with partner institutions and Ritsumeikan University as one of the “FY2013 Inter-University Exchange Project” by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) to promote student exchange with partner institutions in ASEAN Countries under AIMS program (ASEAN International Mobility for Students program).
