[France] Université de Bourgogne – Internship Opportunity at International Office

We are looking for a student interested in an internship in our International office starting from September 2016. We would like to hire someone with minimum 3 years of studies with a good level of French language. The student will help us with administration tasks (incoming/outgoing students) and will participate in Language center activities. It is a paid internship and there is a possibility for the student to rent a student room at university campus.
The application deadline is 20th of June 2016.

CALL FOR PAPERS – International Conference Marketing In The Connected Age – October 15th – Danang – Vietnam

University of Economics – The University of Danang, in collaboration with ADIUT France (Association of Directors of French technological Institutes in Universities), National Economics University (Hanoi), Danang Young Entrepreneurs Association and Vietnam Marketing Association will organize INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE MARKETING IN THE CONNECTED AGE (MICA) titled “ Digital Marketing for Enterprises: Forecast, Potential and Challenges” in Danang, Vietnam October 15th, 2016.

The conference aims to create an environment for academic exchange and experience sharing between researchers and professional marketers on changes in modern marketing, especially on the explosion of digital marketing and its prospects for enterprises.

 The Conference Organizing Committee cordially invites you to write papers for the conference. Topics that the conference encourages to exchange and discuss include (but are not limited to):

  • Evaluating and forecasting trends and prospects of digital marketing in Vietnam and in the world.
  • Identifying challenges and barriers in applying digital marketing in enterprises.
  • Researching, evaluating and forecasting digital consumption trends in Vietnam and in the world in the future.
  • Studying consumer behaviors in the digital environment.
  • Developing solutions for enterprises in integrating technology into digital marketing management and implementation.
  • Developing digital marketing techniques, solutions, tools and models for businesses, such as Marketing Automation, Social Media Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Outbound Marketing, Viral Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Mobile Marketing, etc.
  • Identifying development trends of digital marketing in the future and their applicability in enterprises, such as Internet of Things, GIS Marketing, etc.
  • Exchanging new ideas and models on social and technological connection-based marketing, community-based business models, such as Uber, Airbnb, Italki, etc.

In addition to the above topics, the conference also welcome to exchange and discuss on issues emerging in current marketing practices of businesses, such as developing marketing support services, linking and cooperating in marketing resource employment, etc.

Student Opportunity Offers: Alternative Leadership Program with Japanese Students

alternative:project, in collaboration with Nippon Foundation Student Volunteer Center (gakuvo.jp) is holding two 2-week programs that can be chosen: Alternative Leadership Program in Social Entrepreneurship (Jakarta, August 4-17, 2016) and Culture and Education (Yogyakarta, August 30-September 12,2016).
We are looking for 4 Indonesian students for Jakarta one and 5 Indonesian students for Jogja. They will join Japanese students from various university in Japan. During the program, students will learn about the topics depends on the theme. Not only learning, they will also get hands-on experience through the creative activities.
For Social Entrepreneurship theme, students will have a lecture with UnLtd Indonesia (UnLtd Indonesia is a non-profit organization that supports Social Entrepreneur in Indonesia technically and financially through their social entrepreneur and social enterprise incubator program). They will learn about social entrepreneurship in Indonesia such as the background, struggles, and achievement. After, they will explore real situation in Indonesia to understand the role of social entrepreneurs in answering the problem in society by doing real actions. For the main activity, students will be divided into four (4) groups and each group will meet one of four (4) Social Entrepreneurs which are Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB), Telapak, Duanyam, and Javara. They will get the opportunity to have an interview about their activities and values as social entrepreneurs. After, they present the documentation result and possibly share their own business plan to UnLtd representatives and some Japanese expats who have concerns about this topic (social entrepreneurs are also invited to attend if they were available). Students’ documentation result will also be published in the official Nippon Foundation Website to spread more awareness and positive action.
For Culture and Education, the main program is voluntary teaching for the kids in the riverbank of Code River. The theme for this workshop is ‘Clean Environment: I start from myself!’. Participants, 10 Japanese and 5 Indonesian students will work in teams to create creative workshop to deliver that theme so the kids are able to realize the importance of keeping their environment clean, especially they are living by the river where this issues is crucial.

[Deadline Extended] Hibah Penyelenggaraan Summer Course

Dalam rangka meningkatkan reputasi akademik dan jejaring internasional, maka UGM melalui Direktorat Kemitraan, Alumni dan Urusan Internasional (DKAUI) dan Pusat Inovasi dan Kajian Akademik (PIKA) bermaksud menyelenggarakan program Hibah Inovasi Dan Internasionalisasi Akademik Melalui Summer Course Bidang Unggulan lintas disiplin.

Hibah Inovasi dan Internasionalisasi Akademik Melalui Summer Course Bidang Unggulan Lintasdisiplin bertujuan untuk: 1) memberikan dorongan serta bantuan insentif/ hibah penyelenggaraan “summer course” untuk mendatangkan dosen-dosen asing dan mahasiswa asing untuk belajar keilmuan unggulan lintas disiplin di UGM; 2) mengembangkan program-program bidang keilmuan unggulan lintas disiplin agar dikenal oleh masyarakat dunia, khususnya ASEAN, agar dalam jangka waktu menengah (3-5 tahun) dapat meningkatkan reputasi UGM serta memperkuat internasionalisasi akademik; 3) memperkuat posisi UGM dalam bidang-bidang keilmuan unggulan lintasdisiplin dalam kaitannya dengan kontribusi UGM untuk ilmu pengetahuan dan kemanusiaan; 4) menumbuhkan budaya kerjasama lintasdisiplin keilmuan dalam suasana multikultural bagi mahasiswa UGM dan civitas akademika UGM. Total dana hibah per proposal yang dapat diajukan adalah maksimal: Rp250.000.000,00 yang akan diberikan kepada 8 Proposal. Batas akhir pengajuan proposal adalah hari Selasa, 07 Juni 2016.

Kriteria Pengajuan Proposal

Proposal dapat diajukan oleh Departemen (atau Fakultas/ Sekolah) dengan ketentuan (eligibility criteria) sebagai berikut:

  1. Bersedia untuk menyelenggarakan Summer Course Bidang Unggulan Lintasdisiplin dengan mengacu pada tata kelola (governance) penyelenggaraan yang baik, dan mempertanggungjawabkan penyelenggaraannya ke Universitas;
  2. Mengikutsertakan peserta asing minimal 15 orang (bukan mahasiswa asing yang sedang belajar di UGM);
  3. Melibatkan minimal 5 dosen asing dalam summer course;
  4. Bersedia menjamin keberlangsungan program melalui pelembagaan aktivitas untuk memenuhi indikator keberhasilan program yang telah ditetapkan;
  5. Melibatkan setidaknya 3 staf dosen UGM sebagai penyelenggara utama dari setidaknya 2 Fakultas yang berbeda;
  6. Memfasilitasi sistem transfer kredit antar-PT di Indonesa maupun antarnegara;
  7. Memiliki grup riset/ peminatan bidang keilmuan spesifik lintasdisiplin, yang ditunjukkan dengan karya-karya publikasi, paten, ataupun karya cipta lainnya yang relevan;
  8. Memiliki rekam jejak kerjasama akademik lintasdisiplin, yang ditunjukkan dengan MoU/ MoA/ Letter of Intent dengan/ dari mitra internasional dalam bidang Tridharma;
  9. Memperoleh dukungan dari asosiasi keilmuan/ profesi internasional yang relevan, untuk menjamin visibilitas dari program yang diselenggarakan.

Prosedur Pengajuan Proposal

Departemen dan/ atau Fakultas/ Sekolah dapat mengajukan Proposal Hibah Inovasi dan Internasionalisasi Akademik Melalui Summer Course Bidang Unggulan Lintasdisiplin dengan mengirimkan:

  20. MoU/ MoA/ Letter of Intent Penyelenggaraan Summer Course dan/ atau tindaklanjutnya dalam Kerjasama Tridharma;
  21. Cover Letter dari asosiasi profesi/ keilmuan yang relevan.

Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia – #Ambassador1Day Competition

What is #Ambassador1Day?
The lucky and talented student who submits the best essay becomes the Ambassador of Denmark for a whole day AND get go on a two week study trip to Denmark. The #Ambassador1Day will follow Ambassador Casper Klynge for a full day of meetings with ministers, civil society organisations and partners, to experience international diplomacy first-hand. During the fall of 2016, the #Ambassador1Day will also be invited to go on a (fully funded) two-week study trip to Denmark to visit the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Danish Maritime Authorities, the Indonesian Embassy in Denmark and private shipping company Maersk. The competition is aimed at raising awareness and interest among students and young people around diplomacy and international politics as well as the mutual benefits of the bilateral partnership between Indonesia and Denmark.
