PROGRAM INFORMATION

DiscoverNUS and the NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme bring top students from partner universities across Southeast Asia to study at Singapore’s flagship university, creating a pipeline of talent that will lead the region into the future. Come enjoy our beautiful campus and participate in cross-cultural collaborations and activities with NUS students!

This two-part programme comprises one tuition-free undergraduate semester at NUS, and a scholarship opportunity for an NUS master’s degree.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Third and Fourth Year Undergraduate students (S1) 
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  4. Be proficient in English

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 10 Agustus 2024  for internal review.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to National University of Singapore and you may proceed to the online application after confirmation from NUS.
  3. The FINAL decision is from National University of Singapore.

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.

Sciences Po, one of the best political and social sciences school in the world, is calling for outstanding applications for visiting faculty from around the world. These calls for applications are the fruits of collaboration between Sciences Po Paris and Université Paris Cité. These programs cover various field of studies: Artificial Intelligence; Social Sciences and humanities; Environmental inequalities; Health, environment and climate; Science and Politics; Political economy of the sea; educational policies; and discrimination.

This visiting stay aims at fostering interdisciplinary opportunities, encouraging the development of new partnerships for collaborative research, as well as facilitating the mobility of researchers and faculty members to France. These visits are crucial in order to promote a new institutional approach to research and teaching based on reaffirming the importance of social sciences and humanities to the field as well as collaboration between the social sciences and humanities and the hard sciences.

Greetings from Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo!

Aoyama Gakuin University is a private Christian university in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Originally established in 1874 by missionaries from the Methodist Episcopal Church, it was reconfigured in its current form in 1949 as tertiary component of the Aoyama Gakuin. Aoyama Gakuin University is one of Japan’s oldest higher education facilities. Among the notable alumni of Aoyama Gakuin University are Shin Dong-bin, the current president of Lotte Group, and his brother, Shin Dong-ju. The university’s undergraduate and graduate programs include courses on literature, law, economics, business, international politics, economics, communication, science, engineering and cultural studies. The university graduate programs include international management, law and professional accounting.

Aoyama Business School (ABS) will start accepting Master level exchange students for their MBA Program from the Spring (First) Semester of AY2025. ABS was accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in 2022 as a program that offers excellent business education.

[JAPAN] JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan 2025/2026

We are pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity for postdoctoral researchers from ASEAN member countries. The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is offering a Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan, aimed at providing researchers with the chance to conduct cooperative research with leading research groups in universities and other Japanese institutions. This program not only supports the advancement of the researchers’ activities but also promotes science and international collaboration opportunities.

 

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Duration: 1 to 12 months, as agreed upon by the applicant and the host researcher.

  • Financial Support: Fully provided by JSPS to cover airfare and a monthly allowance.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Applicants must meet one criterion from each of the following categories:

    • Category A: Degree Conditions

      • Less than 6 years since obtaining a Ph.D. in a country other than Japan.

      • Expected to obtain a Ph.D. in a country other than Japan within 2 years from the employment start date.

    • Category B: Nationality Conditions

      • Nationals of ASEAN member countries.

      • A person who is a citizen of a country other than an ASEAN member country and has been engaged in research activities for the past three years at a research institution in an ASEAN member country.
