[South Korea] Yonsei University – Winter Abroad at Yonsei 2018/2019

Yonsei University offers a 6-week winter program at its Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul.
The winter program is composed of two separate 3-week sessions, with intensive morning coursework and unique afternoon Korean language and Taekwondo classes. At the weekend, students can enjoy Korean winter activities. It will be an excellent opportunity to catch up with your coursework, meeting professors in an intimate setting, and to enjoy the companionship of students from all over the world.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is a premier university for globalized education, where students from around the world actively foster our prevailing international mindset.
Developed in conjunction with internationally renowned universities and research institutes, HUFS offers extensive opportunities to help students grow to become internationally competitive individuals. The student exchange program at HUFS is designed to develop a global perspective by gaining an appreciation of cultural diversity through immersion in academic and cultural experiences.
The Student Exchange Program is a system in which students of HUFS and overseas sister institutions, based on an agreement of credit and student exchanges, study at  partner institutions for a specific period of time and get their credits accepted by their home institutions. Students remain enrolled at and pay tuition fees to their home institutions. The programs that are undertaken may be credited towards a degree depending on transfer agreements.

Nara Women’s University exists to provide female students with the highest learning environment, and our main purpose has been to foster women who can succeed in society through education and research. Therefore, our regular students are all female and most of the exchange students are female as well.
If there are male students who still would like to take our classes and receive credits, or do research with a specific teacher at our university, understanding our purpose and the environment, please let us know before applying for the program. In addition to that, please be notified that we might not be able to accept a student depending on his/her major or when he/she would like to start studying.

The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) accepts exchange students from partner universities with which the University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding concerning student exchange. Exchange studentscan choose between the Type G and Type U programs.The Type G program is designed for graduate students. Type G participants will belong to one of the Graduate Schools which they applied for and be able to take various courses or conduct research under the guidance offaculty members. The Type U program is designed for undergraduate students to take various courses given in English and/orJapanese in the various Faculties in accordance with their English and/or Japanese language proficiency.

Kyushu University was founded in 1911 and has grown to be one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. At present, there are 11 undergraduate schools, 18 graduate schools, 3 research institutes, and a hospital. Approximately 19,000 students and 2,200 faculty members are engaged in study and/or research at the University. Kyushu University is located in Fukuoka, gateway of Kyushu. Geographically and historically, the city is close to other parts of Asia, so we have been aiming to be the “University opened to Asia” from the beginning. Also, a new main campus, in Ito opened in 2005, where some departments have begun its activities.

Diumumkan, khususnya bagi calon mahasiswa S2 Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM, mengenai dibukanya Program Gelar Ganda (Double Degree Program – DDP) antara FMIPA UGM dan Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan.
Mahasiswa yang dapat mengikuti program ini adalah Mahasiswa S2 dari Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM Angkatan 2018/2019 yang sudah dinyatakan diterima oleh Direktorat Administrasi Akademik (DAA) UGM. Program Gelar Ganda ini adalah program dalam bidang Master dalam bidang Sains Komputasi.  Setelah menyelesaikan program, mahasiswa akan mendapatkan dua ijazah sekaligus, yaitu ijazah S2 dari UGM dan Master of Computational Science dari Kanazawa University Japan.
Program DDP ini berlangsung selama dua tahun perkuliahan (termasuk penyelesaian tesis) dengan setahun perkuliahan di FMIPA UGM dan setahun berikutnya di Kanazawa University Japan. Tersedia beasiswa dengan jumlah terbatas bagi mahasiswa yang memenuhi syarat. Periode Pendaftaran: 30 Juli – 03 Agustus 2018

Application Procedures
1. We used to ask for submitting two “Letters of Recommendation”, but from this time of application we need only one letter.
2. JASSO form (Excel spread sheet) results GPA by calculate formula. Therefore please make sure to fill in using the Excel spread sheet provided by us. We don’t accept the form in handwriting anymore.

Nomination is done by home university
