The University of British Columbia was established in 1908 and located in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The University of British Columbia is a center for research and teaching. It has two main campuses – the Vancouver campus and the Okanagan campus located in Kelowna. The Vancouver campus is the larger of the two, accommodating more than 85 percent of UBC students. In a recent year, 23 percent of students at the Vancouver campus and around 13 percent at the Okanagan campus were international. Tuition costs at UBC vary by degree program and are higher for international students. University housing is guaranteed for first-year UBC undergraduates, and newly admitted international students who are second-year undergraduates receive housing priority too. Housing is also available for returning undergraduate and graduate students.

University of California, Davis (USA)

The University of California is centrally located in Northern California that was first founded as an agricultural branch of the system in 1905 and became the seventh campus of the University of California in 1959. UC Davis is known for its outstanding programs in the biological and agricultural sciences, along with numerous other programs in engineering, the social sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, and the arts and humanities are also popular and highly prestigious. The campus itself is about 5,500 acres, including the experimental agriculture plots, a central quadrangle, hundreds of beautiful shade trees, and an arboretum on the banks of Putah Creek running through the southern side of the campus. UC Davis faculty and graduate programs attract highly qualified students from diverse educational, social, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

UTokyo accepts exchange students from partner universities with which the University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding concerning student exchange. Exchange students can choose between Type U and Type G programs. Type U program is designed for undergraduate students to take various courses given in English and/or Japanese in the various Faculties/College in accordance with
their English and/or Japanese language proficiency. Type G program is designed for graduate students. Type G participants will belong to one of the Graduate Schools to which they are admitted and will be able to take various courses or conduct research under the guidance of a faculty advisor.

Toyo University will hold a free online  “Spring Business Japanese Special Course “, inviting experts from various fields, from Feb 7th to Feb 17th. Toyo University welcomes students studying Japanese at universities in Japan and overseas, the foreigners working at Japanese companies, and those who are studying business Japanese in overseas countries/regions as long as they have Japanese ability equivalent to JLPT N2.

This course will teach you about the Japanese language, cultural understanding, business etiquette, and other skills that are necessary in business scenarios. This course is also online using Webex as the platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from specialists in each profession about topics that have been carefully chosen.
