ABOUT THE AWARD

The world needs more engineers, and that means engineers who represent the full spectrum of individuals within our global community.
Airbus and the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) created the GEDC Airbus Diversity Award in 2013 to recognise people whose efforts are making engineering schools more diverse and inclusive. Our aim is to shine a light on good practise around the world and inspire others to take up this challenge.

SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN!

The 3rd GEDC Airbus Diversity Award is open for submissions from April to June 2015. Shortlisted candidates – who must be supported by a Dean of Engineering – will be informed in August with finalists to be announced in September 2015.

GALA AWARD CEREMONY AT GLOBAL DEANS CONFERENCE

Three inspiring finalists will be invited to the GEDC Annual Conference in Adelaide, Australia, from 30 November to 2 December 2015 to present to a distinguished Jury. Along with the global visibility the Award offers, the recipient will receive a financial contribution to support their work.

Email info@gedcairbusdiversityaward.com to request a 2015 submission form, or sign up for alerts on www.diversityinengineering.com and discover the inspiring stories from our previous nominees, finalists and recipients.
