We are glad to inform you that the SKKU Exchange Program application for Fall 2021 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Updated Information

Confirmed Quota for Exchange with Tuition Fee Waiver from SKKU: 1 student only

Others can be considered under fee-paying basis. Therefore please mention in the application submission if you would consider participating under fee-paying basis.

Quota 10 fee-paying students per semester. Students will go through the same process with regular exchange students except paying tuition fee to SKKU. SKKU OIR will email each student in late July (or early August) to inform on the tuition fee (about USD4,000) payment.

 Eligibility

1. 3rd to 6th semester undergraduate students (S1)
2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
3. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
4. Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least (iBT 80 or above/ ITP 550 or above), IELTS (6.0 or above), English CEFR(B2 or above), CET(4
   or above) or TOPIK (3 or above) (especially those taking Business Administration).

2. Official Academic Transcript record
3. Color copy of the passport
4. A recommendation letter from an academic supervisor in their home university
5. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
6. Application form (Filled in after official nomination)
7. Fill in the SKKU NOMINATION FORM with your details.
8. Study Plan
9. Certificate of English proficiency test 
10. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
11. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

 

Application Procedure

1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form:http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than April 15th, 2021, for internal review.
2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Sungkyunkwan University, and you may proceed to the online application.
3. The FINAL decision from Sungkyunkwan University.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
• In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
• The application of outgoing mobility for fall/odd semester in AY 2021/2022 will be processed, but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest COVID-19 and government regulations.
