Hanyang University ERICA is a leading university in South Korea, recognised for its academic excellence, international outlook, and commitment to fostering global engagement. Through its international programmes, students from partner universities can experience academic and cultural activities in Korea while developing their intercultural understanding and engaging with the university’s global community.

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Hanyang ERICA Winter School are now open to students of Universitas Gadjah Mada.

BENEFIT OF THE PROGRAM

  1. Explore Emerging Industries
    Gain academic exposure to Korea’s rapidly developing industries, including robotics, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence, through study opportunities at Hanyang University ERICA.
  2. Develop Creative and Artistic Skills
    Explore fields such as K-pop music and dance, design, fashion, communication, and interactive media, with opportunities to engage with Korea’s contemporary creative industries.
  3. Gain Business and Economic Insights
    Develop a broader understanding of business and economics from an Asian perspective, including insights into Korea’s dynamic cultural and business environment.
  4. Experience Korea’s Industry-Oriented Academic Environment
    Study in an environment closely connected to the industries surrounding the ERICA campus, allowing students to gain perspectives on how academic knowledge relates to contemporary professional fields.

 

COURSE DETAIL

The 2026 Hanyang ERICA Winter School offers a range of courses covering business, media, technology, engineering, design, arts, and Korean culture. Students may select one 3-credit academic course and one optional 1-credit course, for a maximum of 4 credits. Courses are taught in English, except for the Korean language course.

  1. Understanding K-Pop Business
  2. Consumer Psychology
  3. Designing the Future: Creativity with Generative AI
  4. Media & Entertainment Business
  5. Robotics
  6. Understanding AI
  7. Semiconductor Engineering

1-Credit Elective Courses

  1. K-Pop Dance
  2. K-Pop Vocal
  3. Taekwondo
  4. Samulnori
  5. Basic Korean Language

The course offerings provide students with opportunities to explore Korean popular culture and creative industries alongside emerging technologies, business, and engineering fields. The final course offerings may be subject to change.

FACILITIES DETAIL

  1. Stay Period : 2 weeks per session
  2. Price : Included in program fee
  3. Room Type : Twin(2-person) room only (Single room not available)
  4. Room Features : Bathroom, shelved desks with chairs, closet, air-conditioner, single bed, trash bin, cleaning broom, LAN ports and wireless router(WiFI available)
  5. Facilities : Convenience store, stationery store, study room, laundry room, hair salon, fitness center, food court, BHC Fried Chicken, Aunt’s Kitchen(small restaurant) etc

Applications are open from October 1 to November 30, 2026 at  https://linktr.ee/ericasummerschool

Create an account, submit your application, and payment instructions will follow by email. You will then receive a student ID number for online course registration.
