Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam invites international students to its 2026 Summer School. Offering intensive short programs across all academic levels, the courses are focused on five core pillars: Sustainability & Innovation, Entrepreneurship in an international setting, Society & Governance, Health & Wellbeing, and Peacebuilding.

PROGRAM DATES
The summer school runs from July 4 to August 2, 2026, divided into three flexible sessions:
- Session 1: July 4 – July 18, 2026
- Session 2a: July 19 – August 2, 2026
- Session 2b: July 19 – July 26, 2026
ELIGIBILITY & FEES
- Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
- Partner Discount: As UGM is a partner institution, students are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fees.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Students must apply independently and cover their own expenses.
- Access the [Application Form] via the VU Amsterdam website.
- During the application, ensure you select the option: “I am currently a student or PhD candidate at a Partner University” to receive the reduced fee.
- Complete the application and direct payment on the spot. The deadline is 1 May 2026.
- The FINAL decision is from VU Amsterdam.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
